Another hotel query

Hi all, 1st post to this site.

I'm travelling back to Hua Hin in a couple of months to look at properties as I intend to relocate to the Hua Hin area, but also to have another break. I've previously stayed at the Hilton, City Beach, Grand and Suites hotel.

I'm not interested in spending lots on accommodation any more as long as its decent, air conditioned and clean - I don't fancy any of the above again, but like a large pool for swimming.

Does anyone have any views on the PuengPen Villa Hotel right in the centre of town? Would they welcome my Thai girlfriend?

May thanks for any views - or alternatives - offered.

Some of my friends have liked the place quite a lot. No problem taking guests there. Price aroun 700-1000 baht/night. Excellent location.

Sounds exactly what I'm looking for at Xmas time ... but can't find it on the HH map !
Can anybody locate it for me ?

It's on Damnoen Kasem Road, next where Buffalo Bill (towards the beach) is marked to be on this map (BB has moved to another location, though)

Another "professional" hotel with a Hotmail address.

We have approached this place about advertising on HHAD due to the sheer volume of accommodation queries we get, they told us to f#%* off.

Stayed at PP.Villa many times. I love it. Very good people, best location, clean, rooms have what you need, guestfriendly etc.
Be nice to these people, if you chose to stay there.
