Can anyone help me find a condo

Post by huahinnewcomer »

I'm looking for an 'A' Grade type condo next to beach. with at least 2 bedrooms, a nice view and easy to reach the centre of Hua Hin. Can anyone help? Have up to 20 million to spend, but so far it's not easy!

Welcome to HHAD, there are a bunch here to start you off:

Hua Hin Condos

Though I've no doubt you'll receive a load of PM's if this is a genuine request (or even if it isnt).

You might want to consider Cha Am for a condo. The beach is better the condos are bigger and less expensive and it is a quieter place to live. 4BR 4Bath 250m2 and you'll get change from your 20 million.

The beach is better
We are all entitled to our opinions, and my opinion is that the Cha-am beach is filthy in comparison to Hua Hin. However, I will say that I've only been a few times, and maybe I was unlucky.
the condos are bigger
How does this work? Is a 250m2 condo in Cha-am bigger than a 250m2 condo in Hua Hin? :?

Sorry norm, but you've confused me

Can you find a 250m2 condo in Hua Hin for 20 million?

I don't know what part of the beach you were on in Cha Am but the part I am familiar with (near Veranda off exit 212) is just as clean as Hua hin beach (near the Sofitel). Wider and much nicer to walk, with many restaurants along the way.

of course if you want night life it isn't the place to be.

Norm,

I've no idea about the cost of a condo anywhere. What confused me was the fact that you claimed, 'the condos are bigger'. My point was:
Is a 250m2 condo in Cha-am bigger than a 250m2 condo in Hua Hin?
Regarding the beach, I've been to beach across from the rows of showers, toilets, souvenier shops, showers, toilets, souvenier shops etc. After you had battled your way through the rows of deck chairs, you were presented with a filthy sea - with so many deckchairs coupled with Thai carelessness with their litter - it is inevitable that a lot of the litter ends up in the sea.

When I have walked on to the concrete area that juts out in to the sea that seperates the 2 deckchaired areas, you could look down and see how dirty the sea really was.
