Must say I was pleasantly surprised with how we were playing, aside from the finishing, but with Bentancur off injured now and Hojberg on... and with no depth on the bench.
We might struggle I think.
I don't trust children. They're here to replace us.

When you miss the number of chances the spuds missed in the first 20 minutes, it's always going to come back to bite you on the bum!
Villa missed a fair few good chances too, to be fair. Could have been 2-2 in the first ten minutes. After Wolves, I was dispirited. Very. It was last season's Tottenham. Today, meh. One of those, didn't finish well enough.
Seeing the arse at the top isn't great, either. 🤮

Well you weren’t disappointed then, although I’m sure the Colonel will be with Everton’s lack-lustre performance and a goal of the season contender too!!

I can only speak of the first half as my bed was calling
We created far more goal scoring chances than they did, but couldn't finish
So we were rightly punished for that in second half. Got to take most of your chances and we don't have the quality to do that
Relegation looms unless we get about 6 points back on appeal(which I seriously doubt)
VAR was grabbing all the headlines once again in last nights 3-2 win by Fulham against Wolves. Included were three penalties (2 for Fulham 1 for Wolves), all of which looked soft, especially when viewed in slow-mo and various angles. Although I haven’t seen the incident, apparently the Fulham player Carlos Vinicius was fortunate not to be given a red card for a head-butt. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/67550696
Bentancur, just back from a long injury (and the best player on the pitch before Matty Cash intentionally looked to injure him - successfully) will be out for 2.5 to 3 months. Devastating. Cash is such a dirty player. How many more lads does he need to sideline before he's removed from the game? Three bad injuries he's given to Tottenham players in the space of 5 fixtures.

Yes, but he went to great lengths to apologise by patting him on the back...
