Bar a 15-20 minute spell, United were painful to watch. Reminded me of past years Spurs. Try soak up the attack, let them have the ball, and play on the break...

Manchester United. :?

Must say I'm beginning to feel sorry for Maguire. Sure, he's a bit crap (cracking for England, mind) but he's become an internet joke. Ridiculed with every touch.

The Arsenal fans loudly cheered him coming on today.

No other player gets his kind of stick.

One silver lining sateeb is it appears, on first glance from his brief cameo, that you've landed a very exciting player in 20 year old Højlund. At £64 million (£72 mil with add ons) for a striker with 9 goals and 4 assists in Serie A last year, many laughed at the cost. But he looks like he's going to cause defenders all sorts of problems.

Post match interview, Ten Hag was questioned about Sancho's absence in the squad.

Ten Hag: “Jadon Sancho out? Based on performance on training we didn't select him. You have to reach the level every day at Manchester United. That’s why in this game he wasn't selected”.

An hour later on social media :

So Sancho joins Ndombele and Lukaku as prem club's highest paid players that will never play for their club again. Encouraging to see signs of player/coach discontent at United this early in the season.

Any coincidence that all 3 are highest paid?

Is it coming from the player himself or jealousy from other players

^ Who knows? Must cause some friction in the camp earning 2/3/4 times more than others but contributing nothing on or off the pitch.

United are a club in disarray. Stadium falling apart with no apparent money for upgrades. Big players falling out with the boss (Ronaldo, De Gea, Sancho). The Greenwood scandal. And now...

What's your thoughts on Everton this season, colonel? Think you'll survive the drop again, or is the 69th ( :naughty:) year in the top flights gonna be the last?

Guessing United will have to follow suit until police investigations are complete.

Sancho might just get another game after all as United's front line takes a further dent with another woman beater accusation. :?

Innocent till proven guilty, mind.

I think that Garnacho and Pellistri are further up the pecking order than the slacker on 350k p/w

Just looked at some Chelsea stats that were quite surprising. They're 1st or 2nd in most attacking stats. Big chances created, expected goals etc. 4th for shots on goal.

Then there's the most important attacking stats :

- 17 shots on target: 13th
- 25.8% shots on target: 18th
- 0.08 goal per shots: 14th
- 0.29 shots on target per goal: 12th.

So literally the only thing holding Chelsea back at the minute is shooting and finishing. Thought they were just being rubbish if I'm honest, but the stats say... one clinical striker and they'll be on fire.

Important players out injured to return after the international break. Don't write Chelsea off.

Yesterday, Messi and Enzo said Tottenham's Romero is 'The best defender in the world'.

Talking centre-backs, they are correct of course...spurs fans know this. It's a miracle he's turned down offers to stay with us really, considering the past few seasons.

In Udogie (20), Van De Ven (22), Porro (23) and Romero (25) we have a defence just as exciting as our midfield and attack. Hopefully young Johnson hits the ground running up front too. The only OAPs in our first 11 are Bissouma (28) and Son (31). This season we've joined Arsenal in the top 3 of youngest starting squads knocking 3 years off last season's average age. :D
