A goal after 4 minutes should do a lot to settle the English nerves.
I must say, compared to the Chinese players, some of the English players have beer guts that wouldn't look out of place in your average Sunday League game .

One thing I have noticed though is the length of extra time added, 8 minutes in this case and there's been more in some matches. Why can't they stop the clock as they do in rugby, or at least spread the time added on over the 2 halves?
Why would they want to? You'll be wanting to make the ball egg shaped next

Just on the stroke of half time England score a 4th only for it to be ruled out for an offside decision. While the girls were huddled together celebrating, I had a good look for the “beer bellies” and couldn’t really see any!!

But doesn't the current rule say there has to be intent? She had just been knocked off balance, albeit by her own team mate.
As for the disallowed goal, whilst in an offside position she made no attempt to be part of play, and actually had her back to the play. It was only after she'd returned to an onside position a Chinese player knocked the ball to her.
In both incidents, I've seen decisions given both ways. Hence I said dubious.
Yes but the rules also say that it's a foul if the player touches the ball with their hand/arm when it has made their body unnaturally bigger. This was, imo quite obvious, the arm was not connected to her body when she touched the ball.
Yes, a difficult one. I still feel 50% of the time unintentional would be the bigger influence.
This is why I hate VAR. In the good old days, the referee would make his/her decision, and have their parentage questioned if any of us disagreed. Move on. Now we multiple replays and still have disputable decisions. The argument goes on for days.
