In some respects I’m sure the answer is yes, but he’d have been a less well paid “hero” compared to his well paid “flop” with City!! To be fair though, he’s not been an out and out flop, just not set the world on fire as most expected - also, one of City’s “problems” is the strength of the squad, with a few exceptions, very few are guaranteed a starting place - how many times does Sterling and Mahrez start together? Yesterday along with Grealish there was also Gündogan, Mahrez and Fernandinho on the bench. As to the game, although I thought City just edged it, but having home advantage a draw was probably a fair result and Klopp would be slightly happier than Guardiola.

Elsewhere, Everton are probably happier than Norwich who beat relegation rivals Burnley - despite the win, Norwich remain bottom of the table and barring a miracle look set to be playing in the Championship next season, along with Watford and Burnley.

After Gerrard quite obviously told his players to go out and injure the spurs lads, in the hope of getting something from the game, Doherty is now out for the rest of the season. Fortunately Kane and Kulusevski got away relatively unscathed from the reckless challenges on them.

Doherty was one of the top premier league defenders over the past month too (at least in fpl points anyway).

Big blow for Tottenham that.

I'm not saying our front three are the best in the league or anyt—

No, scrap that, I am. We have the best front three in the league. No other team even comes close. :D

With a little help from some of the other teams, Tottenham are still in with a shot at the title.

In all honesty though, I can see us picking up draws against Brighton and Brentford, if not a defeat somewhere. Four wins in a row just seems too consistent for Tottenham. Must be another blip on the horizon.

Conte has covid but is asymptomatic and expected to be in the dugout at the weekend for Brighton. For the love of God, please no covid outbreaks now. I'm begging! :|

Boom, back to reality.

Looking forward to the Fa Cup semi in a bit though. If its anything like the recent league game, should be a cracker for the neutrals.

Arsenal stay on the same points tally as 4 weeks ago.

United given the 8th of their 9 lives to get back in the top four race. West Ham the outsiders. Arsenal to play Chelsea, United and West Ham next. Tottenham with a double game week of Liverpool and Arsenal in three weeks. United to play Liverpool and Arsenal next, Chelsea later.

All the while each team dropping points to mid/bottom table clubs along the way.

Hell of a top four race this.

I don't think I have seen a so dominant half by any team this season as the first one between Liverpool and United today. A complete run over. Not as good start to the second half, but with 4-0 in the end back at the top. Now hope for point loss by City tomorrow evening

Fulham is coming up after beating Preston 3-0 tonight thus sealing their promotion. Let's hope they stay up this time?! It's their 3rd promotion in 5 years.

Felt strange supporting Liverpool tonight. Hope I'm not forced into that position again.

Gonna be even stranger being a Chelsea fan tomorrow.

Last night Burnley beat Southampton to keep the pressure on Everton who face the daunting task of playing arch rivals Liverpool this weekend. In most seasons there’s always an unexpected result or three, so the only thing that remains certain, is that who wins the title, who qualifies for Europe and who gets relegated, will probably go down to results on the last day of the season (May 22nd) - let’s hope it’s an exciting finale!!
