In some respects I’m sure the answer is yes, but he’d have been a less well paid “hero” compared to his well paid “flop” with City!! To be fair though, he’s not been an out and out flop, just not set the world on fire as most expected - also, one of City’s “problems” is the strength of the squad, with a few exceptions, very few are guaranteed a starting place - how many times does Sterling and Mahrez start together? Yesterday along with Grealish there was also Gündogan, Mahrez and Fernandinho on the bench. Elsewhere, Everton are probably happier than Norwich who beat relegation rivals Burnley - despite the win, Norwich remain bottom of the table and barring a miracle look set to be playing in the Championship next season, along with Watford and Burnley.
