FA Cup Final

Post by Fybo »

Does anyone know if any of the bars in HH are planning something special for FA Cup final night?

Will be arriving just before the weekend for my annual pilgrimage to HH and looking for a good location to have a bit of sporting banter.

Can’t wait! (HH and not the Cup Final)

Most of the bars will show it. Probably best screens are in Crawfords in Poolsuk Rd (opposite London Lounge)

Has good good old Uncle Rupert Murdoch got the rights to that as well? He's got a lot to answer for. It is still on the BBC?
Just wait until he, or his son, want to buy a football club. Man City are currently negotiating with that bastion of freedom and fair speech, the one and only - Khun Thaksin. We welcome him to our country and our footballing interests, even if he started hating all us Brits/farangs over here first.
Enough of that!!! Keep politics out of sport.

BBC commentary is the best. Motson, Linekar etc Can't beat it IMHO.

Would be nice to get BBC commentary over here for the match.

I think that a vast majority of the UK wants Man U to win. I'm not sure myself sort of edging with what Warnock said about Man U/Liverpool fielding understrength sides and hope it comes back to haunt them. So Chelski 4-3 would be a nice spectacle.

As a lifelong LEEDS supporter and being a true Tyke I have to go for Man U even though we still throw bricks over the Peninnes as thats Lancashire.

Result? Man U 3------Chelsea 1

Next year Leeds???? Depends on Bates and his masters (Masterbates of course) I suppose

No money, no honey alas

Shame! At least that's 6 points Plymouth won't lose against their bogey team next season.

Football is the Game.

If Chelsea could convert all the chances they had against Manure the last time it would have been 7 - 0. Problem is they are not where Manure are scoring.

I get the scent of another boring 1 -0 or 2 -1 victory to Chelsea.

A nice 5 - 0 win would be good with a hatrick to Chelsea's man of the season and Englands's number one, Joe Cole.

We'll have it on our big screen.

So if you fancy watching the game with a few beers after an exhausting afternoons fishing - you know where to come.

I'll be totally neutral - being a Spurs supporter (Someone has to be!)

Poor! It was pretty good from my viewpoint!!

I actually turned down a ticket for the game (one only), to meet up with my mate whose health isn't too good. We've been jumping into each others arms when all goes well since we were kids - 5yo's to be precise.

Didn´t think the game was up to the expectations, but then again the cup finals hardly ever are. Good for Chelskie for stopping the ManUre double, though. In the end, I was hoping for Manu to get the CS and Chelsea to get the cup, so that´s ok. Now if Milan will win on Wed even that has gone right. Wait till next season and the Gunners will be challenging you all.
