Is it a bird or a GOAT?!

A photographer has captured the moment an iconic Australian bird did its best impression of a baby goat.

At first David Hill, 59, just thought he had captured an image of a kookaburra in a tree in Gosford, New South Wales.

It was a lovely photo in itself, but then a friend pointed out something very bizarre if you look a little closer.

There's something in that photo that is an eye/brain short circuit trigger.

Quite incredible really - such a likeness of a goat's head (when you catch it). It's the eye that really gets me!

Some amazing photo's of "natural earth" here: -

Whilst I've been brought up to respect my elders :neener: , there's no need to extract the urine DM..... :D

Not just the eye (and pupil) colour, but goat's eyes have rectangular pupils - the angle of the photo seems to show that as well (the "goat looking part" anyway).....

I bow to your considerable experience of staring fondly into the eyes of a goat...   :naughty: :duck:

(Sorry, but I just couldn't resist. I'll get my coat...)

Us Welshmen know what love is, we can appreciate feelings, look into the eyes of those we love and adore, those square or rectangular pupils. Admittedly they do flash a little at the sight of Wellies... :tsk:

Tiger Sightings Increase in Thai Forest

"This year 79 tigers were captured on hidden cameras in Thailand’s Thungyai-Huai Kha Khaeng forest, which is an increase of more than 70% from 13 years ago. The forest accounts for half of the country’s tiger population.

According to the WWF, wild tiger numbers are starting to gradually increase globally. Tiger populations are stable or increasing in India, Nepal, Bhutan, Russia and China. An estimated 3,900 tigers remain in the wild, but in some areas, including much of Southeast Asia, tiger numbers are declining.

BBC Thai spoke to researcher Sompoch Duangchantrasiri about why it is important to keep the big cats in Thailand’s forests."

The fact shouldn't be advertised or the poachers will descend from the sky. :( :banghead:

The media needs to remember how many people are jobless because of Covid in countries over here.

Dolphin Stampede Wows Whale Watchers

"Around 300 dolphins were caught on camera as they traveled at rapid speeds near Dana Point in southern California.

Also known as porpoising, the dolphins leap so fast they spend more time in the air than in the water."

Why do dolphins do this? No one knows, it seems to have no porpoise...
