Add in copious amounts of booze, cultural ignorance, parochial mindsets, grade-school equivalent education and way too much telly at home and here they are.
Its a pity even the proles can now afford air tickets to virtually anywhere.
I assume that you were having an off day? That's got to be the most "aggressive" post I've ever seen you make?
Talk about generalising!
I'm a tourist and apart from my one time in the Hilton (as is), I haven't paid through my nose.
A lot of locals appear to knock back copious amounts of booze, not just tourists?
Culteral ignorance, well, we're not all perfect. I once went on club 18-30 (or so I am told

How many tourists are going to "get" Thai culture, even the basics on one trip? How many get it visiting the UK on one trip?
Parochial? Are you talking about tourists, Thais ot expats?
Grade school education? Well, I've no idea what that means? I was not encouraged to stay on at school with 7 `O's (Economics & Art A's, the rest B's - English, history, geography, sociology & one I've forgotten). I then did a few others and have lots of things since.
Telly? I confess I watch sport, otherwise you'd likely find me in an art gallery.
Been there many times and maybe nearly there? Maybe not Hua Hin though, that should please you - too many plebs!
And as being able to afford the flights? Well maybe there is a case for filtering who can or cannot get a passport? But we live in a democracy, well sort off, and its just not acceptable to keep the masses down any more. Pity really (as long as it's not me affected).
Sorry.
