the only problem I have had with Thai Mail in the past four years has been that
they failed to notify me that they were holding a parcel that allegedly could
not be delivered. I feared the parcel might have been lost, but the British
seller was able to track the parcel's itinerary to Hua Hin, and the Hua Hin Central Post Office
told me the parcel was at the Airport Post Office waiting to be collected.
Obviously I should have received some kind of notification.
But now the sad ditty of DHL & their incompetent sub-contractors!

At the same time I had ordered another item from the US.
Again fearing that the overdue parcel might have been lost, I complained
to the American supplier. He told me that the parcel was on hold at
DHL Bangkok. Again I had not been notified.
Obviously if the Thai fail to reach you by
phone, it does not occur to them to send a written notification.
Anyway I was glad the parcel had not been lost, and immediately remitted the
customs duty due for that item.
That was on the 31st January!
Until now the incompetent DHL sub-contractors have not been able to deliver
the parcel to our address.

Giving them directions per mobile was of no use.
They did eventually find Amara Resort on Soi 94, but were too stupid or lazy
or both to locate our house 200 yards from Amara Resort!LOL

Strangely the people from Lazada never had any problems finding us!
Anyway I switched off my mobile, and sent them the road map of Soi 94
with markers.
I doubt they will find us!
Kind regards,
