Thank you for any advice.

"The 5 most exciting things about the revolutionary new LG G5

...
Metal body
LG has bounced back and forth a bit between plastic and premium materials, unlike Samsung which stuck to cheap-feeling plastic and refused to budge until last year when the Galaxy S6 moved to glass and aluminum.
For 2016, LG has produced its most premium smartphone yet. The LG G5 features a housing made entirely of metal, putting it on par with its top rivals from Samsung and Apple.
Removable battery
Speaking of Samsung and Apple, there’s one feature in particular that smartphone users constantly ask for, but that these two industry giants simply refuse to deliver: a removable battery. If this is a must-have feature for you, you just found your next smartphone.
The LG G5 packs a large 2,800 mAh battery that will easily carry you through a full day. But if you’re a heavy user or if you want to make sure you never, ever run out of juice, you can swap out the G5’s battery with a fresh one in a matter of seconds.
Expansion slot
This is probably the most novel thing about the LG G5, and it’s something you won’t find on any other flagship smartphone in 2016. The handset’s unique expansion slot allows users to buy specially made module accessories that can completely transform the G5 in the blink of an eye.
Two modules in particular were highlighted by LG on Sunday. The first is the CAM Plus, a special camera accessory designed to “deliver a comfortable grip and convenient control of a DSLR.” It offers auto focus, exposure lock and physical buttons for the shutter and zoom features. Also of note, it adds 1,200 mAh of power to the phone.
Next up is the Hi-Fi Plus with B&O Play, a special module that transforms the G5 into a Hi-Fi audio player that supports 32-bit 384 KHz high-definition audio files.
Power
The phone’s specs might not stray too far from what will become the norm in 2016, but the G5’s power is no less exciting because of it. Spec highlights include a quad-core 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 process, 4GB of RAM and Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
Also of note, the 5.3-inch AMOLED display features quad HD resolution and an eye-popping pixel density of 554 ppi.
Companion devices
Last but certainly not least, the LG G5 won’t be alone when it’s released later this year. LG has unveiled a wide range of very cool companion devices that will expand the G5’s feature set even further beyond what it can achieve with its nifty modular expansion slot.
A few of the cooler companion devices you can look forward to are the 360 CAM, which records 360-degree photos and videos for a virtual reality experience; the 360 VR, a virtual reality headset accessory just like Samsung’s Gear VR; the Smart Controller, which lets users control a drone and watch its video stream on the G5’s display; and the Rolling Bot, an awesome little ball robot that rolls around and captures images and videos with its 8-megapixel camera."

More about the phone in my last post...
"LG G5 is a completely redesigned flagship with features you won’t find anywhere else

For the past couple of years, LG has held its own dedicated events in order to unveil its flagship phones. That changed on Sunday when LG took the stage at its Mobile World Congress event, dubbed Play Begins, to unveil the LG G5.
Not only is the venue relatively untraditional for LG, but the phone is as well. Unlike last year’s G4 and the G3 before it, the G5 features an all-metal casing and rounded edges — an almost unrecognizable redesign.
As for specifications, the G5 features a 5.3-inch, 2560 x 1440 QHD display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor, 4GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage (with microSD card slot for expandable storage), a removable 2,800 mAh battery and its all runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
As leaks revealed earlier this month, the G5 also has an always-on display, which shows users notifications, the time and the battery status by illuminating just one small region of the screen.
Additionally, LG has made significant changes to its camera. The G5 comes equipped with a dual rear camera setup, one with a 78-degree standard lens and another with a 135-degree wide-angle lens, which LG says is “the widest available on any camera.” The front camera comes in at a far less exciting 8 megapixels.
But the real story here is the modular design that LG has brought to its flagship line. Hardware customization isn’t traditionally a priority for smartphone vendors, but LG is trying something completely fresh in 2016, allowing customer to transform their G5 into a “digital camera, hi-fi player and more” with separate modules which can attach to an expansion slot on the phone.
The first module that LG announced at its Play Begins event was the CAM Plus, which is meant to “deliver a comfortable grip and convenient control of a DSLR.” It features auto focus, exposure lock and physical buttons for power, shutter, record and zoom, much like a standard DSLR camera. Plus, it brings an additional 1,200 mAh battery capacity to the phone.
The Hi-Fi Plus with B&O Play was the second (and final) module announced at Play Begins. It’s a portable audio player that supports high-definition audio playback and can either be used with the G5 or as a standalone digital audio chip to connect to any other smartphone or PC.
Along with the two modules, LG brought several other devices, called LG Friends, to the event as well. These are the six that were unveiled on Sunday:
360 CAM: Allows the G5 to shoot 360-degree photos and videos. Features two 13-megapixel wide-angle cameras, 4GB of internal memory, 1,200 mAh additional battery capacity and shoots 2K video.
360 VR: A virtual reality headset similar to Samsung’s Gear VR, in that it only connects to the G5.
H3 by B&O Play: Premium headphones capable of 32-bit sound. Compatible with all LG phones.
Rolling Bot: A small robot with an 8-megapixel camera that connects to devices via Wi-Fi. More than just a toy, LG says that owners can use the device “as a security system for the home” or “a remote control” for compatible devices.
Smart Controller: Control a drone and watch its video stream directly from the G5.
Tone Platinum: A “superior” bluetooth headset with lossless 24-bit audio.
All of these devices will be manageable through the Friends Manager app.
There was no further information regarding a price or release date for the device, but it’s great to see LG trying something out of the ordinary in a year when iterating is far more common than evolving."

Whats your guess on price??
Re: Which Mobile Phone?
Since it's a flagship phone I would guess somewhere around $600 in the U.S.

Interesting comment from another article:
"The Future
What’s most interesting about all this, though, is that LG has opened up the modular aspect of the G5 to third party developers. The company will likely build the feature into its other, high-end phones as well in the coming months. But for me it is the idea of lots of third party developers creating new hardware to stick on the end of the G5 that makes the technology really exciting.
Things like physical keyboards, game controllers, more advanced camera accessories and a whole lot more besides are now all possible. I can’t wait to get to grips with the G5 properly. In the meantime, I’d love to hear your thoughts on LG’s modular phone. "

Samsung Galaxy S7:
"Samsung says it listens to you; Galaxy S7's back to the future features offer proof point
...
So far, Samsung is off to a good start with its listening proof points with the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge. Why? Samsung brought back many of the features that customers griped about when they were removed.
To wit:
- Samsung put in bigger batteries in the S7 relative to the S6.
- The company brought back the MicroSD card slot.
- Samsung improved the edge panel on the Galaxy S7 edge although it's still unclear whether developers will actually create killer apps for the panel.
- According to Samsung execs, the Galaxy S7's software experience and tweaks to the screen size are aimed at one-hand usage.
- Samsung touted water resistance in the Galaxy S7. That feature is a bit back to the future too since the Galaxy S5 had it.
- The company focused its camera effort on low-light pictures with software tweaks.
- And Samsung has liquid cooling in its phone, which means the phone won't get hot with high performance apps.
Whether Samsung rallies behind Koh's listening mantra remains to be seen. It's a challenge for all large companies, but may be more critical for Samsung, which has to fend off low-priced rivals from China, keep its installed based and fend off Apple. It's a tall order, but for Samsung to sell customers on its ecosystem it'll have to prove it can listen, iterate and innovate. "

I find the new iPhone SE appealing. Same power as the 6s but in the classic 5s design and reasonable price for an Apple product.
