IT obviously varies a lot where you live, but where we are we haven't had a drop this week, even though 5 Km's away in Cha Am they had some fairly heavy rain - fingers crossed for the weekend.

Some substantial rain just south of HH this morning. Bang Saphan may get drenched today. See below radar links. Pete

Yes, been hearing the familiar rumbles of thunder, but no rain yet.

Well we certainly got some heavy rain during the night, 2-3 cms so far and it's still raining, just what the garden needed

^ Yes, medium and steady all night in the East as well. So dark this morning (and now) no one woke up until attacked by two hungry dogs. Pete

^ From the looks of this radar, it may not last much longer in the East or in HH.

I'm just back from dropping my son to work. Very light rain and skies brightening rapidly. A few big puddles, but no flooding.

Hey! It is Dec 2nd and is a nice sunny day in Bangkok. I heard that there was some rain in Pattaya today
but good for cleaning up the air for them.
Not sure of the wx in Hua Hin, but at least rain does clean the air and freshens it up
for a bit, of course my wife says that my theories all all wrong. Here in old BKK I heard thunder a couple of times but that was as close as the
rain came to me. Three days back in Thailand and Loving It!
Hot weather and all, thankfully I still had enough money to make a trip here one
more time.
Pluto is my favorite planet!, especially now that we all can see close up
pictures of it.

What's this I can hear? Rain? I thought we'd had our lot until at least April.

^ That typhoon that just went through the Philippines is churning things up a bit. It's a low pressure cell now and entering the South Asian* Sea but they're still saying rain for my side next week, expecting some aftermath to enter the Gulf. Pete

I recalled some rain around Christmas 2014, and New Years. Sure enough, go back and look at pages 109-110. Maybe it will be the same this year. Pete

Just had another very heavy downpour.

I have 2 weather forecast sites permanently set up on the pc and neither of them have any rain forecast for today.

The winter chill is here, at least in the east. About 16-17 this morning and felt great! Wife got up early and baked an apple pie for a holiday party. So between the apple pie smell, carols on the computer radio, oven warmed kitchen, two dogs listening and smelling contently....and the cool weather, it's probably the closest I've been for a long time to traditional holiday memories. :D :D :D Let's hope the chill continues!
