Motorcycle Assistance on the Road?

Post by JamesWest »

I was driving along on my big bike the other day thinking "Gee, I still alive 20 minutes into my ride, congratulations!"

but then I was thinking what if I get a flat tire? Who do I call?

Are there any companies that come out and pick your bike up and drop you off at your bike repair place?

Yes, they are forum sponsors http://www.huahinmedia.com/insureinthailand.php (new name these days). I use them for various things and have found them to be excellent.

I am going to be vague and only say it is a Kawasaki and goes from 0-100 kph in 3.8 seconds. :)
I just don't want to be linked to my bike and this forum, as there are only a few Kawasaki farangs in HH.
Sorry I am slightly paranoid about the real world and the cyber world and Thailand all coming together. :)

James

no problem, from your description its not a 1000cc bike, i have been riding large capacity sportsbikes for 20 years, so i was intrigued to hear what you rode.

600cc-650cc bikes here i guess are considered large, in Australia they are a small to mid size bike:)

i call it a big bike because that is what my Thai girlfriend calls it.
"you have to go to "big bike store."
not because i think it is big. :)
