I'm currently overseas working, so I'm not present to observe how bad this could become. I would greatly appreciate any members posting some pictures in and around HH to document the extent of any flooding. Particularly I'm interested in the Soi 94 area where I live, just past the railway line. I live in Soi Charoen Pattana 1. My wife fears that this could become bad since the road is already starting to flood. Luckily still no water coming into our property, but if the rains will continue through the night who might tell what could happen!?

Any other areas would be of interest too, so please keep posting updates of any developments to the weather and any flooding. And of course, please post some pics if possible.

I didn't have my GoPro with me, so no pic, but the railway through Hua Hin is now a river - absolutely no sign of the tracks. The water in the drainage canal was about 12" from overflowing.

Actually sounds as though it's easing now.

I'm at Condochain, no sign off easing here. Cars on Pret road well and truly axel deep & sticking to the center of the road.

My son wanted me to drop him down to Binthablock, but as Binthablock is the new Atlantis, he settled for his local - Connection Cafe. The road near Korat Kitchen is very deep, and bikes are cutting out through there. The road outside the new food court is now known as the Lake With No Name (previously the Road With No Name).

Many kids on motorcycles desperately trying to kill themselves. Trying to ride fast through the water, but can't see a thing because the rain is so hard. Riding with chins on handle bars, and one hand trying to keep rain out of their eyes. Sad, but I'm sure a few will succeed in their quest :?

A friend in Hua Hin posted this on Facebook. In ten years I never saw it this bad...

That's at the end of Soi 112 - ginormous open water ducts that wouldn't be visible in that rain - I guess they just drove straight in.

Seems unbelievable this year - I've visited many times during August/September, and experienced a fair few storms, but nothing like the photo's posted here.

Quite - very sad, and no doubt very true.

Wow, amazing amount of water!!! Glad we headed up to BKK Friday morning, looks like just in time... We are on a hill and have great drainage at our home... Hope that everything is ok, cameras are showing offline, must have a power outage... Will be back down Monday to access the situation.... Stay safe!!!!

Don't worry, hardly any evidence that anything out of the ordinary happened last night, when driving down to the pet hospital this morning.

Hope flooding not too bad.
Soon after my first visit in Oct. 07 I came across YouTube video of HH flooding the day after I left for BKK. That looked massive!!! Hope all is well.

Just to prove it has gone away, here's a photo just posted on Facebook depicting the same area this morning as the first lake I posted last night.

About the same in Bangkok. A huge downpour last night around 11-00 pm that only lasted an hour or so. And like the errant dog that chewed up the sofa cover, today there is not a cloud in sight, and the sun is smiling down as if to say: "what, me, rain, what is it"!
