Latest update that I have from his daughter, Emma, was yesterday
No improvements I'm afraid. All rather depressing. His kidneys are now failing and we are preparing ourselves for the worst. We hate watching such a proud man go through this.
Please can you forward on to everyone for me and thank them sooooooo much for your help. We'd love to meet up again one day - hopefully with our dad.
The only thing I have today is
Things haven't improved and we hate seeing him like this.
Sorry that I have no more - My thoughts are certainly with Richard and the girls.
Peter
If a Yorkshireman puts his hand in his pocket - fret not!
He'll just be checking his ferret.
I got the same message Pete...makes me feel so sad, so helpless, & so frustrated..so damn hard to believe that just over a week ago he enjoyed a wonderful birthday party with his close friends around him...
...COME ON YOU OLD TROUT..DIG-IN, & PULL YERSEN THRU'...!
Really sorry to read about Richard. I wish him a speedy recovery.
Another good method of payment is Paypal. If his daughters have an email address with them linked to a bank account transfers can be made in seconds. Maybe post this email address for Paypal donations?

The trouble with PayPal is that if a lot of deposits come into a usually quiet account over a short period of time, PayPal can lock the account and with it the associated money. I would therefore recommend against using paypal in this kind of situation.
I find I do not have any problems with PP amounts. Yes, maybe huge sums might be considered as money laundering. I have had £2000+ in the account and then withdraw amounts of £200 at a time. Also PayPal could be contacted beforehand to explain the situation. Anyway, just a thought.
Hope Richard is improving.
