Firstly, let me show something I read on another forum. It made me see red, and I'd be interested to hear somebody else's views:
I consider Prachuab to be a really top-class team now. John Mary is a terrific striker and I have enjoyed several of their matches with the guys. While I am delighted that they (we, it's our local team) won this game, I am bitterly disappointed about the post-game behavior of both sides. I did not see the game myself but heard there was a major ruckus (see above) AFTER Hua Hin lost. Now, I can take a bit of "aggressive play" on the field, though from what I have seen Prachuab do not play those kind of tactics. But to start a fight with non-players AFTER you have just lost denigrates a beautiful sport! Bad show Hua Hin, bad show!
^ Obviously a troll, but it did get me  . It was all that I could do to control my emotions.

 The Thais love your little outbursts. We often see them elbowing each other and pointing in your direction with a smile on their faces.

Did you not know, next season is going to be a breeze? We've got our own Roman Abromovich (spelling :D ) on board? Did you notice the big Farang guy (he's in the above video) mincing about in black shirt and brothel creepers :D ? Looked like a night club bouncer, and put those skills into practice putting the animals back into their cages? His presence and actions probably did more to quell the Prachuab stampede/attack that the entire military police contingent. I'm sure if he didn't spring into action, injuries would have been more severe. He is our sugar daddy together with the other farang who kept a lower profile.

Reading about them (on Google translate), they have a lot of football experience. They will be getting rid of 7 of the current squad, and will bring in 7 new players. Hey Davy, we're going up - this season was just a practice run.

My problem is, I'm not a fan of plastic supporters, but I'll probably excuse myself because I've supported them during the last 2 seasons, I'll consider myself exempt from a plastic supporter tag.

Regarding big crowds, I don't know how many there were, but I doubt there were that many. I don't think Fort Thanarat could handle half of that. The only decent 2nd Div crowd I've seen was at Udon Thani. Their current set up is model for other Div 2 (and probably Div 1) teams to envy. They were leaps and bounds ahead of everybody else. It's a shame their off the field problems marred the first few matches of their Champions League campaign. IMHO they should have been champions, with 5 others battling for second place. I hope we can avoid them in next year's Champions League, as they must be favourites.

Absolutely amazing isn`t it. This article comes from a supporter who wears blinkers along with his dark glasses, who loves his football club that much he was not even at the game and goes on to make comments that are totally unsubstantiated. He is a total moron - and I am being polite. The game after all, was probably the most important game that Prachuab will EVER play in. He must be colour blind aswell - we played in black and they were in orange, because if he watches the video footage he would be hard pressed to see any Hua Hin fans causing any trouble and if he watches closely he would see his own team`s spongeman attacking Owusu, who if memory serves me correctly is a HUA HIN PLAYER!! I would love to see their faces when they are relegated next season, because we won`t be there to meet and greet them, as we will be on the way onwards and upwards. WE LOVE HUA HIN, WE CHEER HUA HIN.

Wow - amazing it is, talk about blinkered.

The fact that it was a HUA HIN PLAYER that caused the entire incident is totally lost on you lot isnt it? That above statement perfectly describes the last two pages of this thread!

You are wrong buksi, yes, Wongsawad elbowed your man (totally at fault there I agree), but in response to yet another synical foul aimed at disrupting Hua Hin's play. The lying down and regular time wasting was making me wonder whether it was just deliberate gamesmanship, or do Prachuab have a general fitness problem?

I hope for your sakes it was gamesmanship because lack of fitness will see your guys getting hammered at the higher level.

If Wongsawad was so much at fault, why did your sponge man make a beeline for Owusu and assault him? As I've already said, this was after one of the Prachuab bench had run on to the running track to kick the ball away, preventing Hua Hin taking a quick throw in. :?

It is all there on the video link that I posted. The video doesn't lie. Try working through it frame by frame, and see the barbarism unleashed by Prachuab players, backroom staff and supporters alike. It is a real eye opener. Well done to the Hua Hin players for not retaliating.

The more I read the crap like that posted on the other forum, the more I am thinking the Chairman was wrong, and criminal charges should have been brought.

I don't think you've said enough. You are ignoring the true facts, insisting on trying to deflect the blame Hua Hin's way.

What happened on the pitch was down to crap officials. Prachuab players falling over and being stretchered off every 2 minutes, only to jump off the stretcher as soon as they reached the touchline to resume play was despicable, and should have been stopped - it wasn't. How many Hua Hin supporters ran onto the pitch and chased those players and tried to kick the hell out of them as a result?

The regular disruption to play resulted in megga frustration. There were also quite a few synical fouls, and I can understand the frustration/retaliation. No, it shouldn't have happened, but the ref was not in control. The ref should have dealt with it.

However, all of the above happens in most games, most weeks, and life just goes on - it's the beautiful game.

What was exceptional was the crap that happened afterwards. No, we don't have answers, but to try to blame it on an incident that probably happens in most matches, most weeks does not compute. Are you saying what happened afterwards is normal if somebody reacts to a synical foul? I've been watching football for 50 years, and I've never seen anything like it.

Will go through it, but as I already stated - it looks like your number 30 was the primary instigator and has been punished accordingly.

Well, due to a prior engagement, I couldn't make the game at the weekend and haven't seen the goings on, so can't really comment. However I've just seen the punishments handed out, there are a few fines for both sides for various things. The main ones though, are as follows:

The chief/president/chairman whatever he is from Prachuap fined 50,000 and banned from having anything to do with football for THE REST OF HIS LIFE!!!

Owusu fined 62,500 and a year ban!!

Also talk of Hua Hin having to play 2 closed door matches at start of next season(or being forced to play 2 home games away from home, not sure on this one) Perhaps somebody else can decipher it clearer than me. The article is here: http://www.siamsport.co.th/Sport_Footba ... 7_242.html

Also, I read in another article that Hua Hin's head coach will be stepping down, still has business interests in BKK etc etc, says he will still be involved with the club as an advisor of sorts....

And I've said already that Owusu's had it coming all season. I think at Petchaburi he flattened a player with a left hook, and the ref ignored it. He was very active (in the dirty player sense) at Looktabfah also. I am not denying anything, although, I didn't actually see this particular incident.

If you read back through recent comments, I did ask if you were sure it was the No. 6 Wongsawad incident that caused the trouble. I didn't see, but the chap I go to matches with did say that No.30 Owusu elbowed your goalscorer at the end of the match.

I've been thinking about the level of the punishment against Hua Hin, which on the surface seems severe after Sunday's incident.

Those who have been reading my reports, will have seen me refer to the little fat man who comes out with the teams (it was not always the same man). My conclusion was that he was a FA Official, attending after a series of MINOR incidents by Hua Hin fans. I even mentioned that he was videoing the crowd on occassion, when they became boisterous. It was the arrival of the little fat man that also saw the police presence doubled from 4 to 8 several months earlier :?

By minor, I mean running on to the pitch with a flag, throwing (plastic) bottles at the pitch and bombarding the ref with objects as he left the the pitch. My fear all season was that Hua Hin would have points deducted, but they just let the fans (in the loosest sense) tighten the noose around their own necks.

It is a shame the FA did not act sooner (as in several months earlier). Maybe the Hua Hin element would have been quelled sooner. However, I wonder why the can of beer from the Prachuab crowd that exploded as it hit the 5th official was not punished also.

So, in conclusion, I am sure the Hua Hin punishment was not restricted to Sunday's match, but is an accumulation of incidents over several months, and definitely deserved.

As for the rabid Scotsman who yells abuse at the crap refereeing (and the Hua Hin forward line) .................................. :D

A question for buksida.

What sort of effect will the above have on Prachuab next season? Is this guy the Chairman or manager? Does he provide any finance to the club?

It seems very harsh that they make the top man fall on his sword for a few idiots.

I sincerely hope it doesn't leave the club with a cash flow problem. They obviously bring a lot of enjoyment and happiness to you and a lot of others. It's been too long a battle to win promotion for those idiots to jeopardise your rightful status next year.

Hua Hin losing a player, and a bit of cash, which they can afford is one thing. Potentially losing a team's finance is too harsh a punishment, and I hope the Google translation is wrong. If I'm reading it correctly, is there any right of appeal?

[Edit] Or was he the politician?
