Baan Bayan

Post by taxi »

Hello everybody!!

We are going back to Hua Hin again and are spending christmas at Baan Bayan - looking forward to a small hotel this time.

Not many reviews to find - do any of you guys have info on this place???

Thanks

I have never actually stayed there as it's a bit beyond my price range. I have a friend who has stayed there a number of times (a man who enjoys his creature comforts). I have had evening drinks with him at the bar and the occasional lunch.

You have made a wise choice and will be staying at a hotel that is infinitely, absolutely and utterly better than any of the 'brand name' five-star places that can be found everywhere.

Wow! based upon that recommendation, I would love to hear more about this hotel, as I will be coming in December.

You'll find a couple of reviews here : http://www.atsiam.com/hotels/hua_hin/ba ... eviews.asp
I intend to live forever - so far so good.

have been shown around this place when I was at Chan Chay which is in front of it.It really is quite beautiful and the price was not really that extortinate for what you get in terms of space ,peace and quiet and hopefully really good service.certainly will not be cheap at xmas but hell I only pay 900 baht at Chan Chay. Its all relative to what you want and what you are prepared to pay but if i ever shoot down to Hohin again I will probably stay there myself for a couple of nights.Best you post after you have stayed so we can find out your opinion

probably 15 mins on the beach, but 10 minutes on the road..There is motorcycle stand on both sides of the road as you come out of the little soi onto the main road and tuk tuks at the marriot.I generally even walk back the beach way after a few beers at the Karaoke area around 3am .never had problems with human muggers but there is a pack of dogs there that can be quite aggresive.enjoy stay
