The radiator cowl with that dividing strip down the middle suggests Daimler - mid 1930s?

The fluting on the grill is very much like more recent (but not that recent) Daimlers which is why I had suggested it previously, but if it is, not sure which model but will start searching.

Could be early 1940's so it would have to be a 3-series of some sort which one I don't know.
