Thais will not be able to watch the 2014 World Cup final on free TV unless regulators strike a new deal with the broadcasting rights owner.

The Central Administrative Court ruled on Monday the National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC) must exclude the 2014 Fifa World Cup final match from its must-have sports list, effective retroactively from the date the list was announced.

The case had been filed by RS International Broadcasting and Sport Management Co Ltd, the broadcasting rights holder of the 2014 World Cup football matches.

Our new England kit for the World Cup is out now. As nice as it is I think 90+ quid for the shirt is criminal.

90+ quid is for the match shirt, that's the actually shirt the players will wear. 60 quid for the normal shirt (still expensive mind...).

I think that pic is last years shirt. The new world cup white shirt is a V neck and without the writing under the badge.

My mistake. I saw it in the newspapers then just googled 'New England Shirt' and picked the wrong one.

Thanks DM for putting in the correct one. I actually prefer last years shirt.

Edit: Here's the article with the new away shirt too. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article ... shirt.html

Come on folks! They're making excuses already about England's predicted poor performance and basing it upon El Nino and the weather?!

I think enough to say that where Brazil is near the equator would disrupt any British team used to UK weather. That's a no brainer......but to specifically blame it on El Nino is a stretch and quite laughable. Good bless the journalists! Pete

I might be tempted to stand behind Germany. Reasons? Özil, Podolski and Big Fucking German. :D Would have gone for England if all three: Walcott, Gibbs and Wilshere had been playing.

With no World Cup, John Terry is straight on his holidays

I am probably a bit behind, but does anyone know if terrestrial TV (ie ch 3.5.7 etc) is showing any of the games ? I also recall a rumour that CTH may get some as well - did it happen ?

Otherwise, where would I get a RS box, and would it work by just adding an extra LNB to the true dish with no movement of the dish required ?

I have seen no advertising for the world cup in any English language papers or websites - hard to believe it is starting in a couple of weeks.

Thanks

I don't know the answer to your specific question(s), but most/all of the games are on the Thai Expat TV system.
