How many matches in a full season for the Thai leagues?

That's a difficult question, especially for Thai Division 2. There are 6 regional divisions, each with a different number of teams in them. The league is played in 2 parts.

In part 1, everybody plays everybody at home and away in each league. The top 2 (and some 3rd position - don't know how that's worked out) from each league then progress into one of 2 national leagues (e.g. winners of leagues 1, 3 & 5 together with runners up from leagues 2, 4 & 6 into one, and winners of leagues 2, 4 & 6 together with runners up from leagues 1, 3 & 5).

The 2 2nd round leagues also play each other home and away.

I think, but am not sure, the winners of league 1 play runners up of league 2 and vice-versa play in the semi finals.

The winner of both semi-finals play each in the final.

As you can see from the above, to answer your question, I don't know  . But if you don't finish in the top 2(3) in part 1, your season comes to an abrupt end.

Don't forget, today at 1600hrs it's Vana Nava Hua Hin City vs SINGBURI
venue: Fort Thanarat, Pranburi.

Come along and support your local team in this season's drive for promotion. Starting in 2nd place, 3 points from today's match could see them moving in to first position.

What's the 'Vana Nava' all about? I'm guessing some hi-so real estate company that sponsors the team and insists on having their name everywhere!

Its the new water park being built across the flyover. I'm putting 2 and 2 together and guessing that they are being gifted a new stadium at the same site (I can't see it going up anywhere else in Khao Takiab).

They are major sponsors of the team along with Leo, although there are about 2 dozen sponsors in total - I guess that's why we all enjoy league football here in Hua Hin for a pittance.
