Hi
I read that some people run/job up to the viewpoints? Anybody know how far it is from the Hilton and how long it would take a two hour half marathoner? Is the route on road or trails?
It's something I may want to do - if it's not too hot in February - I ran the Bangkok marathon a few years ago...
Cheers

It's on roads until you get to the top of the mountain, then paths, some rough with steeply sloping terrain and big rocks to navigate.
My brain is like an Internet browser; 12 tabs are open and 5 of them are not responding, there's a GIF playing in an endless loop,... and where is that annoying music coming from?

It takes my son between 5 and 6 minutes to jog up the mountain (from the Soi 88 side). The jog to the base of the hill shouldn't take more than 20 minutes (probably less for a 2.5 hour marathon runner).

I took this photo of some joggers in Khao Hin Lek Fai Road on the Soi 88 side. I think there may be an annual event?
