Dusit Thani Buffet

Post by migrant »

Last year we went to the Monday night buffet at the Dusit Thani. IMHO it was probably the best buffet I've been to (I don't own the DT). Pricey, yes, but the variety and quality was excellent.

Just wondering if anyone has been recently to know that it is still being offered?

Thanks!!

I can only confirm that there is a Thai food buffet on Friday and a seafood buffet on Saturday (which we are looking forward to). If I can avoid a senior moment, I'll ask for a list of regular buffet evenings.

Of course, it would be very helpful if they advertised on here, rather than relying on the goodwill of customers and the forum.

I've diligently searched their web site and there is no buffet information on there either. They need a new marketing team.
My brain is like an Internet browser; 12 tabs are open and 5 of them are not responding, there's a GIF playing in an endless loop,... and where is that annoying music coming from?

Monday night still a buffet night, different presentation but more or less same food. Wednesday night is an Italian buffet, also good. What has changed is that the "bottoms up", drink as much wine ( limited selection ) for 650bt++ is no longer available. And don't forget they provide a free two way pick up service within 10km

Monday was always the carvery night - all the joints you can think of - plus a bis seafood section with prawns, lobsters, salmon, various smoked fish and a really big selection of cheeses.

We went a few times - but the Monday night buffet was always by far the best.

What is the current cost for the Monday Buffet and are all the others the same price?
It does not matter where you come from, it's where you are going that matters.

If you have been given a couple of free tickets to something at the Dusit, why wouldn't you go?

Thanks Sand_Dancer I think you have answered my question.
The reason I asked for opinions was because everything you get for free
is not necessarily always good.
