I am a certified English as a Foreign Language teacher: I have many years of teaching experience. How can I contact you? I can teach you a few hours for free... starting the second week in November. A private teacher is better than a class. Bring a friend.

Presumably you mean a personal teacher rather than a private one, since there are many private language schools. But then you say 'bring a friend', so, again presumably, you think 2 students are better than 1. How many students do you need before you have a class?

You can contact by mail. I can write a post as soon as the administrator's permission. Lessons for three people. A child in school Somtavin (4th grade). And two adults. All of the initial level of English. The main Russian language. Please send me information about yourself. What materials are using?

You should point this out when advertising your 'wares'.

I suggest, first, using online materials that have Russian translations, like the one above. Search for this webpage:
"Of English Lessons for Russian Speakers. Copyright 1994 Vasgen Khachaturian"

1. Look at this webpage, and make a list of anything that you don't understand.
2. Then we can change a few words in the sentences to change the meanings.

(Will is used to indicate a certainty or possibility in the future. Did indicates the past. Didn't = did not.) не (ne) "did not" in Russian

My GF is using the learningcentrer and is very happy with the lessons,I think its 1900 baht for 48 hours,"unfortunately" there is
only 2 student in the classes on the weekend so it will not continue when the 48 hours is finish since they need min. 4 student.

What makes you think that, or do you know english4u ?

I don't see anything particularly wrong with this, apart from the use of the colon maybe, but it is just a post on a forum.

Filipp,

Things get lost in translation. That's why I kept my introduction simple. I didn't intend to sound like I was speaking the Thai version of English. I thought you were Thai. Look at the Russian/English webpage that I suggested and see if you agree with the translations. Let's start there. Here is the short version of who I am.

* Native speaker from America with a very neutral accent, like a newscaster.
* Degree in Education (music). I have taught foreign musicians.
* Certified ATP pilot and flight instructor. I have taught foreign pilots.
* TEFL certificate: I have taught English to students from around the world.
* Experience teaching ESL to all ages - from children, to heads of state.
* Experience teaching ESP to pilots and lawyers, and TOEFL test prep.
* Age 60

english4u, can I ask where you are based please? The information offered to me as a moderator about your location is a little suspicious. I know people can manipulate their cyber location, but I think it is only fair to the OP that you are up front from the start.

Suspicious? Be up front? Have you read my posts? I advised that I will arrive in Thailand the first week of November, the beginning of the high season. Where do you show me? Are you getting tea money from the language school you recommended? You are the one sounding suspicious. How can I find you when I arrive? I would love to meet you. I am in a country that borders Thailand. I could be in HH tomorrow night. Is that suspicious? I realize that all of you Brits have strong Anti-American feelings, but really, isn't this petty?
