Sorted, found something on Google Play that added the Thai locale and a Thai keyboard.

Have a look at SwiftKey, it's easily the best Keyboard on the market anyway and if you install an additional language pack (Thai) you can can just swipe the spacebar to change Language/Keyboard.

It probably costs about £2 ish but it's 50% off atm and is worth it.

Buy it or Google 'Apkmania SwiftKey'

Ok, we still cant get it working properly, the display is now in Thai but the keyboard doesn't type properly (some characters are not appearing, typing Thai is quite tricky and has to be done in a specific order).

Have you tried MultiLing keyboard? It's what bot me and my girlfriend use (obviously my gf uses it a lot more). It has the swipe-space-to-switch languages feature, and has the additional bonus feature of being free!

MultiLing keyboard types Thai ok - but the recipient of the SMS receives gibberish.

What app did you use to add Thai locale? It sounds like it's not changed it right at system level, rather put some kind of translation layer in.

Is there a service in Hua Hin that would add a permanent language to Android on system level? Just changing locale (with a free app) gives temporary help, but on next boot the lingo and the locale are all wrong again. Samsung says it can not be done on Tab 3, but I do not believe them.

If you know of such service, please tell me where to go.

Thank you!

Unwanted pictures on my Galaxy

I have numerous unwanted pictures on the gallery on my Samsung Galaxy III. Most are from Facebook but some are not. How do I go about deleting them please? Unlike the ones imported from my laptop there does not seem to be a drop down menu to delete them

OK, I'm not as rich as you richard, and mines only a SII. However, whenever I select any picture via the gallery, I am automatically presented with the delete option.

Yes long press a picture and select delete, or you can do the same with an entire gallery section (ie hover over the gallery 'facebook photos' and delete it)

Help Please

I've done something (no idea what) to disable 3G on my Samsung Galaxy SII phone. Does anybody have any ideas how to get it back on please?

Things I've checked so far include:

- Data network mode is activated

- Use packet data is activated

- Data roaming is activated

Beyond that, I don't really know where to look.

How long has this been happening? Are you certian you've disabled it and it's not just a case of network outage?

When you pull down the notification bar I presume (never used a SII) you have some icons at the top to indicate wifi state, screen state etc. Is there one to depict 3G/mobile data? If so is it lit? If not, swipe across to the left and right to see if more icons show or not.

And have you tried turning it off and on again? (Seriously!)

Anyway, switch data roaming off - it'll cost you a lot of money if you ever take that phone abroad!

It's been happening 2/3 days.

The 3G icon doesn't appear any more.

I've turned it off and on again several times.

Roaming data has been switched off.

OK, I bit the bullet and took my phone to Telewiz (who originally set my phone up for me in Thailand). They said my original 3G package had ended, and I had to subscribe to a new, improved package. I explained my current package still had 5 days credit - no good, package finished :?

I've subscribed to the new package (an extra 49 Baht/month). Unfortunately, it needs setting up, and there are too many options for me to choose from, so I'll be back to Telewiz later. I will let you know if this resolves my problem.

What I don't understand is that I've seen several other forum members claim to have the same package as I had. Has nobody else experienced loss of service?
