3BB optic has been - and is being - very erratic.
Occasionally it delivers incredible speeds,
next moment it totally dies.

I just hope to complete this.

For me personally, it looks as though the recent 3BB outage was well worth it. I think when resolving the outage problem, 3BB have resolved their lost packets problem as well. For the first time ever last night I was able to watch uninterupted live football using my Android Box. I'm currently watching the Grand Prix live on my Android Box.

A week ago, I could only have watched either via my laptop.

2 Days of heartache, but the dividends are well worth it :D

No, the update was for the already superior laptop package, not the Android Box.

Same here in Korat. What ever they did during those two days has significantly improved throughput and stability.

I suspect it was some drastic network reconfiguration.

Just to clarify Pet, I am now getting the service others with different Internet Providers were getting from the start. This is why I'm attributing the improvement to 3BB engineering.

3BB optic for me in Hua Hin has been terrible for a long while now and remains so. Lucky to get 2mb download!

Was wondering if anyone gets decent speed and reckons the 'upgrade' to Fibre Optic was worth it? For me its been complete Sh@@e!

What is your location and what do 3 BB have to say?

Not really sure what 3BB Optic is, but I've got the cheapie 3BB 10Mb package. I regularly get speeds of 11Mb or more.
