Lost should have used the word 'twat', but he didn't do that either.

I think Nanyang was just calling 'a spade a spade' but evidently lacks the vocabulary and intellect to call them by a more 'polite' term.

My experiences with bar girls were mostly bad tbh (just the two many many moons ago) The first I was with for a year. Bad tempered, foul mouthed and mannered and, sorry to say, not that sharp so any conversation of any kind was lacking somewhat. The second was worse than the first. Wanted everything but gave nothing.
What 'polite' term would you use to describe the two women you have mentioned?

Unfortunates, ladies of the night, parasites.......

To describe the two women 'I' have mentioned were I ever to indulge in a 'speaking ill of my exes' conversation, would call for far stronger words.

That said, to gloss each and every girl that works in a bar with the derogatory term 'whore' I think is unnecassary.
I don't trust children. They're here to replace us.

Can we keep the abusive comments and playground banter to ourselves, and this thread on topic please.

I'll go back to topic.

Stopped by a Thai restaurant here in So Calif for the first time and I was the only customer. The waitress was wife of the late owner I found out. We talked for 2 hours, started dating, and 3 years after were married. It's been 5 years and I've never been happier

I am convinced that this may not be the best place to find such a man....
Well my partner met me in the old Road Hole bar and I don't think I do too badly although I don't doubt that I have my faults.

Met my wife via the internet. Joined a Thai dating site and posted my details. My work to me away from home so did not look at the site till the following weekend. There were over 100 replies, most of them young girls in there teenS and early 20s telling me they loved me.I was 62. Deleted all these replies except for 3 and one stood out, a long email giving me lots of details. Educated in the states with a degree and worked in banking. I replied and we ended up chatting every night on skype for about 6 weeks. I flew over to Thailand to meet her and we got on like a house on fire. She then came to the UK for 6 months. When her visa was up I moved to Thailand for a year, we got married moved to Greece for 3 years then moved to the UK. 6 years together and still very happy, She is 18 years younger than me. No regrets.
Woke up this morning breathing that's a good start to the day.

We're not married, but we've been together almost ten years now. We met on Saipan in the Northern Mariana Islands. She was a restaurant manager at a resort hotel and I was working for the US Feds. When I retired we moved to Korat, her hometown. She's now a lawyer. I'm still retired. We're quite happy and have good lives.

A good friend arrived at the airport , his bag was missing, he went to report it, very tired and angry. The Lady at the lost luggage desk was so easy to deal with that a year later they were married.

I met my wife in the Hilton disco, I was on two week holiday staying at the Regent Cha Am as I had made my break from a really bad relationship with somebody I loved it was just not meant to be after almost three years.
I thought I will go to the quietest place I could find just for a poolside holiday, had a nice break but thought I would seek a little night life on the last couple of days so ventured into Hua Hin.
I had a few beers in some of the bars down the Binta found myself drinking up and leaving some because I didn't like being pressured from quite ropy looking BGs thinking I was fair game.

After chatting to another farang that told me their was a disco at the Hilton off I went to find some proper night life.
I was in there for about an hour stood at the bar and I noticed this really nice girl next to me with her friends, we started chatting and I could not believe how good her English was. We ended up dancing the night away and exchanging emails and phone numbers.
We met up the next day and I spent the afternoon with her and her friend and we agreed to keep in touch.

My wife had been in a long term relationship with a farang the relationship had ended and my wife had gone back to Surin and the farang back to the UK, she had only returned to Hua Hin to sign some papers after sale of their property.

On my return to the UK their was already an email waiting in my inbox, we ended up emailing and phoning each other every day .
We agreed to meet up for two weeks in September and had a lovely time we also decided that we would put in an application for a fiancé visa, so after the visa had been granted ( very easy for us as their was no language barrier) I flew back in December for another two week break and returned to the UK with my wife.
Been together for eight years married for seven years and we have a two year old daughter must say happy with my life!

Kendo.

I had a friend in Pattaya who met a lady that he was attracted to and with whom he was planning to move in. He had several friends who were married to lovely Thai ladies. He introduced his new lady to them, They all advised against him getting involved with her--He took their advice--What a smart move. The quality Thai ladies can spot the phonies in ten minutes.

I met my wife in the Netherlands.
She was working for Thai Airways and on one of her trips she decided to stay a few days in Amsterdam. We got to talk and I offered to take her around.
Since that moment she came to see me several times. One year later, I decided to go to Thailand for the first time in my life.
After falling in love with her, I fell in love with the country as well.
We are happily married for 15 years and since my retirement we spend our time in the Netherlands and Thailand about 50/50.
