So basically, judging from some of the posts on here, most lawyers are stuck in what can only be an incredibly boring profession. I guess the same applies to many doctors who end up spending most of their lives prescribing cold and flu remedies rather that performing surgery.
Don't try to impress me with your manner of dress cos a monkey himself is a monkey no less - cold fact

Believe me, if you're a lawyer in Thailand dealing mostly with Farang, it's anything but boring; even if you're just doing stuff that would be routine elsewhere.
It seems to be a never ending circus of human frailty, misbehavior and horrible decision-making.
Chavalit and Partners will take care of any property deals, wills, contracts etc. Tom is a Thai lawyer.
Before you buy a property or land, be well advised to get a law firm check out the deeds of the land you want to buy and check out the contract. Final payment should be done at exactly the same time as the transaction in the land office. Don't be too trusting - too many horror stories here!
I was too trusting 4 years ago. Handed over several million baht and still don't have it registered. In fact myself and 13 others are now all on the point of losing our houses because the developer used all the land to borrow money. Now he can't make payments to the bank. So be warned - get a lawyer to help and advise you. Best money you will ever spend.
Jane at CF is excellent and brings Thai property law into a couple of pages of A4, instead of the hugely complicated looking process that it could be. She works with Thais of whom some will be local lawyers. Who cares where her qualifications are - she is brilliant. She did my will easily and quickly and reasonable price as well.
Fat drunk and stupid is no way to go through life.......says who?
