The place beside the golden Buddha

Restaurants, food, beverage, hawkers, and local markets and suppliers. This is the place for discussion on Hua Hin's culinary options.

The place beside the golden Buddha

Post by Mack111 »

Guys

Sorry don’t remember the name of the place

At the far end of the beach towards the big golden Buddha there is a restaurant that you can sit overlooking the sea, really nice spot, has a band playing music at night.

I’m coming across in a couple of weeks and was just wondering is it still open?

Cheers

If it's the one I'm thinking of, it's the back of the Sailom Hotel..

If it is the one by the standing Buddha in Khao Takiab, it must be Supatra By The Sea, although I didn't know they had a band in the evening, as I have only ever been there during the day. It is very nice though.

Walking along the beach towards Khao Takiab, if it is the last plot on the right before you get to the more ramshackle Thai style restaurants with the open air prawn tanks, and it is elevated above a stone wall directly on the beach then it's Supatra. If it's up past the Buddha, then maybe it's La Mer.
