Learn Chinese, French or Spanish

Post by Dan.constant »

I am teaching Chinese, French or Spanish using a revolutionary software based on immersion.

The software uses images, text, sound, and video to teach words and grammar by spaced repetition, without translation.
Start with the basics and build towards conversational mastery in very little time.

Cost: Donation only. pm me for details, I am based in Hua Hin.

All the best

Have you got a work permit for this if not you are opening yourself up to big big trouble.

I like big big trouble. Really big.

Thanks for your concern anyway.

GOOD LUCK then

I personally don't like big fines, Bangkok Hilton or deportation so I'll stick with the law thanks. Just my personal opinion D.c

I 'smell' a language school proprietor.

I think you'll find that quite a few of the community on the Forum are residents and therefore dependent on having their residence visa to remain here, so why take a chance of getting caught working where you could have your visa cancelled and/or a fine/prison? If you are travelling through and want to take a chance, then that's your choice.

Perhaps it is the lack of intonation on the internet but simply wording it as 'To stay within the law you will require a work permit whether you receive any money or not" would be sufficient 'dire' warning I would have thought.

It's the Alien Working Act you'd be in breach of - here is a translation (so don't rely on it) http://cmemployment.org/pdf/tlaw0366.pdf sections 7 and 9 make the need for a work permit clear and section 51 contains to penalties for working without a permit.
Cant anybody make few bucks whilst travelling?
The govt. will answer that question with a resounding 'No, not unless you are Thai or have permission to work here.'.
Whats wrong wity you people?
I suspect no-one will ever truly know.

I'm not warning you off doing what you want, just giving you some information. Someone was looking for a Mandarin teacher recently on this forum, have a search.
