crepes & Co

Post by midlandmike »

I see C & C is opening in HH. I have eaten at both locations in BKK. A very classy act but not cheap. Their menu is on their site but no prices

On the Pala U road left handside when driving out of town just as the hill is starting.

Its located where the petanque club on the Pala-U road used to be; a lot of French/ Belgian / Dutch people used to go there for a bite and a drink.
The owner, Philippe, who used to run the old petanque club is setting up a new bar/restaurant/petanque club a bit further down on the same road, opposite La Vallee compound.
Crepes & Co is worth while to visit, maybe not cheap but trendy and very good food!

Went last night, i think they have been open for only a few days. Setting is beautiful very tastefully done, one of the coolest places I have been to in a while.

Ordered 2 starters, 2 mains, 1 sweet 2 beers 2 wines. Not gonna pass much comment on the food as I am sure they are still working on the dishes, the crepes were the star...I guess they should be!

This place needs support as the owner has spent a fortune on the place so give it a go, its not cheap but the setting is super.

Perhaps when they've finished "working on the dishes"!

That doesn't sound very positive!

The crepe dishes were very good, the others could have been seasoned a bit more for me. I will go again as its such a lovely set up.

Crepes and Co H.H.

Post by Ralphsandbag »

Four of us made our first visit to Crepes and Co on Palu Waterfall Road last night... What a shock the lay out and the Ambience was so welcoming and warming too.. They have inside or outside tables also comfy seating area too... The staff were so welcoming too, made us feel like old friends... After ordering Drinks the owner came over and also welcomed us and told the history on Crepes and Co....
The menu is French and Mediterranean, everthing we ordered was well present, smelled gorgous as was the taste....
Will certainly be returning..

I visited on the second night and will certainly go again sometime soon, you could feel the place was very much in set up mode but the crepes were great and the whole feel of the place was really nice!

I can vouch for Ralphsandbag.....I was there last night and the food was good.....tried various starters...each had different dishes...and enjoyed them! I don't think we are easily pleased when it comes to food and don't mind paying the price if its up to standard. Ambience was great considering when you pass it from the front streets you have no idea what lies behind. Will definitely be going back so much choice.

C & Co has their menu in the net in PDF form. However they display no prices.
As I intensely dislike any restaurant hiding their prices (much as I dislike ones
that hide their additional costs in small text) it's unlikely I'll ever visit the place.

Luckily there are so many alternatives. To each according to his likes.
"There's no plausible or convincing reason, certainly no evidential one, to believe that there is such an entity (= deity) and that all observable phenomena, including the cosmological ones... are explicable without the hypothesis; you don't need the assumption."
