We stayed near a market place and there are many laundry shops. We paid 90 baht per kilo and I think you can find laundry shop everywhere near a market place.

Or around 500bt for 50 pieces is fairly standard, you can put 10 or so items at a time

- You wuz robbed!

Go to the northernmost part of Poonsuk Rd (after it doglegs across Dechanuchit Rd) and you can get laundry done for as little as 40bt/kilo - although I prefer The Laundry Shop there, because they do a better ironing job - but charge 50bt/kilo
I may be drunk, Miss, but in the morning I shall be sober and you will still be ugly...

Seems a bit of a strange question to me. If you walk around HH you can't help but see laundry shops everywhere, the rate can be anything from 40 to 100Baht.

Personally I pay 50Baht and get everything back next day in excellent condition in a vacuum sealed bag nothing ever missing. If there is a mark/stain on anything I just point it out and god knows what chemical they use but it comes back sparkling.

Instead of asking on the forum just go for a walk in your area and ask a local

Can anyone use these laundry shops? I take it it's best to negotiate a price before handing over your clothing? which one does vacuum sealed bags? they'd be ideal for the journey home-somewhere to store my drugs...............................that last bit was a lie!!

No, you have to be a member and pay a monthly fee. :?
Of course you can use them, they are in business.
You don't negotiate, they have pricing stuctures-- x baht for t-shirts, y baht for long-sleeve, z baht for socks, n baht for sheets and so on.
You can also pay by kg or they count the items and mark them on the slip with the prices. You get a copy to bring when you return so you can check at that time if all your socks are there.
It's not complicated, don't over think it.
