Can I have a 'P' Bob?

Post by Vital Spark »

Oh, joy of joys. Blockbusters is back on UK TV. Through the miracles of modern science we can watch it here in Thailand. OK, it involves adults (not kids), but it's just as much fun as it was x number of years ago.

VS :D

P.S. Another goodie quiz programme is Pointless with the lovely Alexander Armstrong as host.

Please direct me on the right (free) direction.

A link to the 'Blockbusters' would be great. Don't wanna have to chop through all the absolute shite that is on 'that' telly at the mo.

Hi GLQ,

We get nearly all of the stuff we watch from 'thebiz dot com'. It's a file sharing site, so you can't take and not give. Once you get your ratio up, perhaps by downloading programmes that are popular, but you don't want to watch, then it's easy.

IMO it's the best site for UK TV, and watching a programme a day after it's aired in the UK is not a problem. Watched the Eurovision Song Contest last night  . Poor Englebert  Graham Norton's commentary was nearly as good as Tel's.

P.S. I've just had a thought that you may need an 'invite' to register. If so, just PM me and I'll try and get you in (metaphorically speaking).

Not so sure about blockbusters, hard to replace Bob & i'm not overly keen on Simon Mayo.

But Pointless is an excellent quiz show.
Great format for a quiz & a great presenter.
Special mention to the co host too, Armstrongs 'pointless friend' Richard Osman, clever & witty.
Apparently, the show was his idea originally

Have to agree about the witty banter on Pointless, as for Simon Mayo, well he is a Spuds fan.

Oops!

As pointed out by the ever vigilant Mr.VS - I think I made a bit of a blooper with the site which I mentioned getting UK programmes from. It should be thebox.biz not the biz dot com.
