I think you are mistaken Frog. I have not experienced racial prejudiced ever on this forum. The comments were left about "Bacon coffin" that someone had posted before. It was a weird thing for someone to have made....don't you think?
It was really said light heartedly, not in an offensive manner at all. This was posted some time back in "News of the Weird - this just in!" In other words it is amazing what some people do.
I personally have many Jewish friends, muslims too, certainly Thai, Australian, US and more French friends probably than English having worked in France for a long time. I am sorry if any comments made by me offended you, they were not intentional.
I do not think that any forum members who post topics on a regular basis ever "hide behind a computer screen to act tough" or are they arrogant. Most menbers are very nice and certainly helpful.

Making 2 real friends is better than making 1300 fake friends. Siani, Your one line reply 'Not for muslims with a 'criminal' facial expression would certainly be considered to be offensive to most muslim readers of this forum who can actually understand english. It also seems like many of you here have a superior attitude and a tendency to look down on Thai people in an indirect manner. I have been insulted numerous times in the last 5 days in a very 'direct' offensive, inflammatory manner when most of my posts and replies have been about Compassion and Justice. I apologize if you feel I've hurt your feelings...

Rattlesnake bites customer in Wal-Mart

A Wal-Mart customer is recovering after he was bitten by a rattlesnake in a garden department of the store chain.

Mica Craig said the reptile pounced as he was shopping at the store in the north-western US state of Washington.

The 47-year-old stamped on the serpent and was later treated at hospital with anti-venom, after his hand suffered serious swelling.

Wal-Mart apologised, and said it was investigating how the snake had entered the store in the city of Clarkston.

Kayla Whaling, a spokeswoman for the chain, said: "At this point, it appears to be an isolated incident.

"We are working with a pest management team, which is conducting a sweep of the property to ensure there is no additional rattlesnake activity."

Another customer, Maria Geffre, told Reuters news agency the snake was at least 1ft (30cm) long with four rattles.

Mr Craig said the serpent attacked as he reached down to brush away what he thought was a stick from a bag of mulch.

The purchase was intended for his marijuana plants, which Mr Craig said he was licensed to grow for medical reasons.

Some liken it to heaven. Some liken it to a sack full of spoiled onions and jock straps.

But durian, love it or loathe it, is supposed to smell.

Native to Southeast Asia, the durian's shell resembles an extraterrestrial porcupine. When cut open, it exudes an aroma so powerful that taxis, shopping malls and hotels put up signs forbidding durian-toting customers.

But now, Bangkok's The Nation newspaper is reporting a shocking development: a genetically-manipulated scent-free durian is soon to hit the Thai market.

Apparently, this freak durian was long in the making. A scientist is cultivating the scentless durian, a variety that will entice Westerners repulsed by the strong smell.

Subtract the smell (which can be very enticing to the acclimated durian eater) and what's left?

An odourless durian isn't worth much more than an odourless clove of garlic.

I suspect that any Westerner curious enough to acquire durian is apt to want the real thing, smell and all.
