I'm not sure phone shops in England are much better to be honest!

I've just downloaded it, and crap would be too much praise for it. I can't get it to play the local radio, let alone find UK stations. 3G was good enough to allow me to download it, but it aint good enough to let me use it.

I'll try again later.

I've tried again since, and get zilch - I'll sit outside the house in a minute to see if it changes.

I've been outside, and had about 75% success with UK radio, although I can't find any BBC stations (apart from BBC Wiltshire, which worked) - any clues where I can find them?

In that case, the BBC stations were not present.

I've only just started using it but just noticed a search function in the top right hand corner, does that give any joy?

OK, I've just ventured onto the porch and risked being eaten alive by the mossies, but I can confirm the BBC channels are there, and at least 1 works. I'll have a more detailed look tomorrow.

BaaBaa, it worked fine for me, awesome app. It had the beeb stations, Talk Sport which I like in small doses, plus every search I did came up with a dozen or so stations... old skool, disco/soulful/funky house, all the Chicago/Ibiza stations which are individual apps. Very handy app.

It took around 5 mins to 'initialize' (I assume that's what it was doing) when first opening the app, but then when you switch stations the buffering was under 5 secs. It was ok as well on the house WiFi, ie: TOT Broadband, which is a bit slower than the phone's 3G. When switching 3G to WiFi it automatically re-started in about 10 secs.

BB,
What area are you staying in, have you done any 'speedtest.net' checks to see how it's performing? Next time I'm in your I can do a couple of tests if you were interested, I'm convinced from mates' phones/pads that TrueMove's 3G performs better. This is what True usually gives down Soi 94. Only to a Bangkok server mind...
