Farang murder a few days ago
Farang murder a few days ago
I have heard that a Farang (staying in a hotel opposite City Beach) picked up a girl from the Karaoke a few days ago and was then murdered in his room. Does anyone know anything about this? I have seen nothing in the Bangkok Post, AWOL or this forum.
Re: Farang murder a few days ago
sorry to say ,this type of news is hardly ever ,made public here if it is it will be in a thai newspaper
Re: Farang murder a few days ago
Are you sure he picked up a GIRL? Sounds more like a katoy. Anyways, if true, not something happening everyday in Hua Hin.

The problem is that the police and local farang "newspapers" rapidly cover up these incidents as they are bad for the town's image (read: business). Something similar happened a couple of year back involving a certain prominent large hotel who paid to keep the story out of the local press.
If you have anymore solid info on the incident please post it.

The truth is that foreigners(farangs) are an insignificant and miniscule minority here.

There was a druging/robbery by a Katoey of a falang at the hilton last month which made the HH Thai newspaper. The Katoey and accomplice were caught.

And that's exactly what makes travelling to places like Asia and Africa so thrilling.....lol. Those almighty US, UK, and other European passports don't help one bit I'm afraid.

I personally can't really say that getting robbed, physically assaulted or potentially killed is 'thrilling'.Takiap wrote:Name Taken wrote:buksida wrote:The problem is that the police and local farang "newspapers" rapidly cover up these incidents as they are bad for the town's image (read: business). Nothing surprises me anymore in Thailand. I didnt want to reply to this post but I wanted to warn others of this. I am a little embarressed to write this and have learnt my lesson well. My first mistake when I came to Thailand a few years back was to fall in love with a BG. I would never consider myself a sex tourist and met her when I went to Pattaya with my cousin 3 years ago when she was talking to a friend on the street.
Cut a long story short we went for a drink back to hers etc...Everything seemed normal at this point she was very smiley attractive and I made the mistake of falling head over heals too quickly.
When I returned to the UK I kept in touch and went back to see her a few times. The second visit I should have dumped her straight away. She was getting angry mood swings, causing trouble in the hotel with the owners (by the way this in Korat) calling the hotel owners wife a sl*t etc. Most blokes would have run by then. I stupidly didnt. The money demands started and the head games. I came home and kept forgiving her on the phone and I was too infatuated and like a love sick puppy. I found out she had other blokes in her phone but she said they were old numbers and hadnt deleted them.
Anyway her behaviour was getting more erractic when I came home, phoning me 20 times a day threatening to kill herself. Go off with other blokes etc. You get the picture. When I returned to Thailand for the 3rd time I met her in the airport in Bangkok and we came to Hua Hin (her first time). We got slung out of the BaakPak hotel in Bintabaht for her behaviour and I did a runner to the bus station to get away from her. I was terrified. She demanded 10000 baht out of me in the bus station and she would go her way. I gave her the money and jumped on the bus to Bangkok. I was going to stay at my friends house in Kalasin for a few weeks to cool down.
Bloody cow followed me to Bangkok and tracked me down crying and wanting to give the money back saying sorry etc. I should have been strong at this point and told her to F off...I told her she was on her last chance and no more games and bad behaviour. Cut a long story short we arrived at my friends house in Kalasin and she became super jealous and angry with me and wouldnt socialise with them.
That night we went to bed and had a little chat with her I said anymore of this and you will go tomorrow. I fell asleep on the bed. Im not sure whether I believe in a higher power but woke up at just the right point when she came in the bedroom with a knife and tried to kill me. She cut all the tendons in my hand and it was a real mess. I managed to defend myself and knock her out. I woke up my friend and he just couldnt believe his eyes, blood everywhere, my friends Thai wife (very lovely woman) was horrified.
We tied up her hands and she was hysterical like a wild animal shouting death threats, blaming me etc etc. We took her to the local police station and they were bloody useless. The police instantly wanted money and kept telling my friends wife, "Well if the farang wasnt in Thailand this would of happened!" I just cannot believe the Thai way of thinking. They wanted me to pay her more money and we left her there like a feral animal screaming and shouting.
That was the last I saw of her. But I wanted to warn you that she has currently returned to Hua Hin (I found out through a source) and is working in one of the Karaoke bars next to the Hilton. She has a bird tattoo on her right shoulder. Please do not trust her, go with her, talk to her she is HIGHLY DANGEROUS!!
I have also found out she uses Yaba because little red pills were found at my friends house, hence her manic and dangerous behaviour.
I am just wondering whether this is the girl who murdered the farang? Does anyone have any names or newspaper articles links?
Anyway final warning if you go with this girl this is what will happen or even your life.

Re: Farang murder a few days ago

Yabba use among bargirls is increasing rapidly here in Thailand, be very careful and cautious.
The girls that use yabba or other drugs can become extremely violent and crazy insane with no warning at all.
Glad you're okay ge3.

ge3, thanks for the warning and I hope you are well on the mend. Anyone can make a mistake, especially where the heart is concerned.
I hope you had a quick recovery.

Thanks very much. I have learnt my lesson the hard way. 2 hand operations. Silicon in my finger and tendon grafts later Im ok. Just recovering from the emotional damage this girl caused me.traveller2 wrote:ge3, thanks for the warning and I hope you are well on the mend. Im trying not to go off topic here. I really hope they find the people who robbed and killed this person. Trouble is this is Thailand and the police will do the usual cover up crap and say it was the farangs fault almost like they did me. Thais do get away with murder (literally!). I just wanted to warn others of this dangerous girl she stalked me all the way from Pattaya and now works in Hua Hin.

Neither do I. What I actually meant was that I enjoy being in places where I don't qualify for any special treatment just because I carry a certain passport.
On a slightly different note, if guys want to hang out in red light districts and etc. they should at least be willing to accept the fact that such areas attract all types of people. And, as someone else has already pointed out, the man in question was found dead, which does not automatically mean he was murdered.
I'm just saying, guys come over here and hang out in shady venues, and then complain if things go south. Instead of drinking the night away in Patpong, Nana, and etc, why not spend the day at the fairground, or perhaps go to the opera.......far safer choices.................lol. Sure even the most ignorant of travelers must know there are risks involved if you frequent certain places.
Anyway.........
