question. can anyone recomend a nice day spa where i can send the mrs when we come over. think she deserves a day of girly pampering.

Chiva Som is one of the most famous spas in the world, they must have a day treatment. Springfield also has a very nice day spa.
My brain is like an Internet browser; 12 tabs are open and 5 of them are not responding, there's a GIF playing in an endless loop,... and where is that annoying music coming from?

Checked out Chiva Som webpage the cheapest 3 day package in low season is 48k plus 17.7% . And it looks like they do not do single days

Try the one near the night market, next to the Grand Hotel. Name is something like Blue Ocean.
