Having thought about this carefully (lol), I have come to the conclusion that there is a CONSPIRACY.........T90 has offered Richard a financial reward in order to drum up business. Sorry people, your cover has been blown.

PS: Richard, I'm offering you a way out here....lol. A chance at redeeming yourself as it were.

As you would have noticed in my first reply, I stepped up regarding your right to complain, but don't be mistaken, the way in which you did it does leave a bit to be desired. :? One bad night is hardly cause enough for such a rant, and then you throw away your credibility by making reference to tour operators. Who, for the bloody love of Moses, needs a tour operator in order to find a decent meal?

Now now chappi, you really ought to take a look at yourself, because it honestly does seem you're slowly but surely becoming a miserable old man, and hardly the free thinking, easy going type of guy I once thought you were.

Anyway, life goes on  :thumb:

I was at Terrace 90 on Thursday, and must say the buffet was excellent. The food was hot, fresh, and delicious--quite the thanksgiving feast (I saw several people undoing top-buttons on trousers)

Yes, T90 sometimes have minor service issues. (What place doesn't? in my experience even the 5* hotels run into these same issues on a regular basis) When they come up, I talk to the owners about what's happened, and they're always VERY responsive and friendly.

The family and I are regulars at T90, and we've not had a bad meal yet. Not once, and between us and guests we've probably had close to 300 individual meals. I'm not saying it couldn't happen, I'm not saying it didn't happen, but if it did it's an extremely unusual case.

Richard--please DO complain all you want. Bad experiences need to be shared, I'm sure the T90 team will try to learn and grow from your comments. But you do make a fool of yourself by stating that their prices are "Way too high" They offer quality food at a VERY reasonable price.

Speaking of lessons learned last Xmas and Xmas Eve we were packed and in our opinion could have done better with servie This year to better serve you we will do a Buffet. It cost us little more it as we can not limit your choices of Meats salads and deserts but the kitchen can keep up and the waitress have more time to get your drinks. We think a win for our customers. Also alows kitchen to cook for those wanting Thai Food or other dishes.

We are thinking a free glass of House Wine, Local Beer, or Soft Drink for those who book (have reservations) and keep them. Also thinking of only holding reservations for 15 to 20 minutes. Feed back on this idea please. PM, e mail terrace90@gmail.com or post here.

Now the Menu. This should be fun guys. What should we serve? What is a must on the Menu, where you are from? So to start this off we propose :

Selections of Freshly Baked Bread
Cream of Pumpkin Soup
Cream of __________Soup
Salads
Roast Leg of Lamb
Roast US Turkey
Smoked US Turkey ( We have a couple smokers so let the cooks use them)
With giblet gravy and cranberry sauce
Traditional sage stuffing and maybe a meat/bread stuffing?

Slow roasted Honey Ham w/Rum Raisin Sauce

Smoked Virginia ham (agin lets our smoker work)

Roast Beef w/ mushroom sauce

Green Bean Casserole

Candied carrots

Broccoli in a cheese sauce

Brussels Sports

Mashed potatoes

Chicken and Cashew Nuts

Fried Rice

Another Thai Dish for the Ladies ________________

Steamed Rice

Deserts: Pumpkin Pie, Xmas pudding, apple pie, chocolate mousse, Chocolate chips cookies, Traditional Tiramisu (I'm the baker and love to bake. So this part is the fun part for me.) Nat

PM us you ideas, please.

What is the cost and what are the times for 24th and 25th please ?

K. Pet,

Times 0n the 24th from 6PM (1800) to 9PM (2100)

Xmas 1200 to 4 PM (1200-1600) and 6PM to 8 PM (1800 - 2000)

Ideas any one?

Final Menu and cost will be on HHAD by end of week.

Trying to hold cost down but still allow all four meats to be served. If we plate ( Two meats0 it price would be lower cost to us but we think a Buffet is the best value for our friends. They get their choice of so much nore. Also so many people from so many places to try to please. A Buffet allows us to please more people!

Also to allow our freinds to sample more then one Christmas Desert. Of course all will be "Low Fat" lol so we can stuff ourself! Still looking for decent wine to offer at affordable prices.

Hi P Nat

Do you have any plans for New Years Eve/Day?

Unfortunately a friend of mine is working offshore and will not be back in HH until the 27th Dec so he will miss your Xmas Buffet.

Bakery and Kitchen need to get an idea of how many to prepare for Xmas Eve and Day so help us out by buying early and:

Buy your Ticket by 21 Dec and get a free

We should note our House Wine starts at 99 Baht, and we will have Wines priced from 499 up by the bottle.

Neither can I. Was looking forward to it. We were there right on the dot at 6pm.
However, to her credit, Khun Nat just sent me a PM explaining that she forgot to put it out, and for us to drop by next week and she will make up for it somehow. :D

What very nice people they are at Terrace 90.
Genuine,caring comes to mind.
Not sure l have seen Khun Nat, the sweet lady we normally see is always the same to take our order.
Extremely pleasant and remembers us each time(maybe something to do with the amount of beer consumed) .
The till receipt always says the name "Poo". Darn nice lady.
Thank you T90(not looking for anything,my pleasure to praise your fine restaurant).

We were there for Christmas dinner 6 pm. A very fine selection of sidedishes and quality meat, all well seasoned and prepared. Will definitely be back. Please post in regard to your New Years Eve menu.
