I don't watch anything live, but I download a lot these days. You can download UK TV programmes from several websites, but UKNova and TheBox are both very good. Veehd is also worth a look.

hI rosalinda,
You can get all you need on speedy TV .com ITV ,BBC all channels.sports, soaps the lot. You have to pay but about a third of the TV licence in the UK. I recommend you take out the 99p 24 hour test run to start.Just to make sure you can get okay.

Why watch it live? If it's on at 9 p.m. in the UK, that's 4 a.m. here. Download it free a day or two later, perfect quality (HD if you really need it) then watch it when it suits you. :thumb:

you can try the free ones like 'expatshield' but it is just a pain... i don't know why everyone is so keen on it. it almost crashed my computer...better if you don't waste time with it...I have been using UKTVAccess it is quite good...you have to pay around 4 quid a month but it's worth it. it has itv, bbc, 4od etc..

I'm almost ashamed to admit it but I'm a big fan of Corrie and Eastenders. I've kept bang up to date for the last few years on youtube. Both are uploaded within a couple of hours of finishing in the UK. My daily routine, for example, is to get the kids to school, back home by around 7:30 and watch the previous night's episodes. Watching live would be around 3 in the morning so 7:30 is early enough for me!
The youtube channels I use are 'randomtvshowsuk' for Corrie and 'eastendersontv'. The odd occasion that they're late, there are plenty of other sad uploaders who will have the episodes up quickly. Quality is pretty good.

A very sad soap fan!
