Yep, it's OK to gloat now, chaps.

I do like the look of young Mr Walker - him on one side and Bale on the other... mmm

I'm not really inclined to sympathise too much with our cousins in red. They've been crowing for so long now that it'll do them a power of good to have at least a couple of years of mediocrity. Good for the soul... :neener:

Edit: Oh, and what about Scott Parker - phenomenal! I have to confess I wasn't convinced when we signed him, but hats off to the bloke. :thumb:

:agree:

Walker's goal was a stonker - no wonder the Italian Nerd has picked him for the England squad this weekend - together with Parker

I just hope that they don't get injured doing their duty :|

Talking of which - that was a nasty one that Sagna took - no one deserves that - no matter who they play for - hope he gets a good recovery

I suppose one of us has to reply otherwise you will think we are bad losers :cuss:
On balance Spurs deserved to win, but not the thrashing you were hoping for, ie one handball goal and one, once in a season goal. As for finishing top four,
DOYS.

Bad losers? Heavens no, not after such a graceful post...  :neener:

Speaking of good grace Arsene Whinger's at it again:
The Arsenal boss blamed Tottenham's Benoit Assou-Ekotto for the injury.

"I think he was pushed quite hard by Assou-Ekotto and I'm not sure what happened to him.
Edit: Top 4? I can see absolutely no reason why not. What's the competiton? Let's give the Manchester teams 1 & 2. Chelsea, Liverpool (probably) and Spurs fighting it out for the other 2 places. As good a chance as last season, if not better. As usual, consistency will be the key.

Can't see Newcastle staying where they are much longer.
Arsenal? Relegation might be too much to hope for, but I think they'll find the top 6 quite a challenge.

:( Wow what a shocking decision from Atkinson. There were worse fouls or challenges (Rodwell challenge wasn't even a foul) after that, that went unpunished from both sides. Where is the consistency? This is what is wrong with the game nowadays. If this red card doesn't get rescinded then I've had enough of this so called "Beautiful game" :banghead: :banghead:

I dont know what a comedian like Martin "Rowan" Atkinson is still doing refereeing in the Premier League.
For the last 3 or 4 seasons most times I've seen him referee he has made some shocking decisions......Chelsea fans will remember him with affection, though !
Saturdays one against Rodwell was an absolute disgrace. You are right. It wasnt even a foul never mind a red card.
Surely Atkinsons continuing incompetence should lead to some sort of demotion from top flight matches ?

Arsenal didnt play too badly and were, possibly, worth a point. But thats the way it goes when you are down on your luck.I,too,am very impressed by Walker....has a very bright future ahead of him.

Easy for Chelski but Boltons cause wasnt helped by having to play Bianca (ex East Enders) in goal ! Bogdan, similar looks and, probably,a similar performance.....still,he's only a young lad and this will be a learning curve for him.

Luckiest team of the weekend......definitely Man United.Norwich were worth a point and would have got it if they hadnt been denied by bad luck and bad finishing.
United looking decidedly dodgy the last few games. The amazing start of the young guns like Cleverley,Young and Welbeck is fading fast.Still impressed by Jones,though......a much better option than Ferdinand.Hopefully they can regroup with a week off for the internationals otherwise Baa Baa could be having multiple orgasms after the end of the match a week on Saturday !!
We're all on our uppers,we're all going skint,

I did say Spurs deserved a win, as for "such a graceful post" did you really expect me to be happy? Do you think Van der Wossinames`s (I didn`t even mention that he COULD have been sent off) goal should have been Allowed? Do you think Walker will score a lot of wonder goals?

Enjoy your bragging rights, as has been proved they could only last 15 years.

I just thought I'd post this here in case anyone missed it in After Dark.
I thought about copying it to a few other sections as well, but I suppose you can have too much of a good thing...

Yes, I admit and always will. No matter how much the supporters of teams who've been succesful in beating us for the first time in umpteen years gloat. I still think Wenger has had it right all the time, the money some teams pay for their players and transfer fees are not good for the game and no-one deserves that kind of salaries. But we all have our own ways to look at the game, don't we?
