Some time ago there was mention of a restaurant serving Thai and European food... located around Soi 56 ??? across railway line in a small Soi running parallel to railway.. Mention was made of the owner/chef trained or lived in Scandinavia.
That all the clues I can give. Anyone know where I am talking about?

Similarly there was mention of a German restaurant in the Terrace 90 area but I was unable to find it - help please ?

There is a new Danish restaurant on the Railway Road, Little Denmark, just at the end of the night marke. Haven't tried it yet....

If you go up soi 56 from the canal road you should pass the market
and then you have a small soi after about 500 m on your left side there it is.

Name is New Nop Nice
Location is pretty much as meatball said.
Over Canal Road, past Dinasao Market on your right, then past Dainosao Noodles shop (which also looked fairly busy), then next Soi on left. New Nop Nice is at the end on your left.
Restaurant is fairly roomy but the kitchen is across the Soi.

This is the same Nop New Nice that used to be in Satukarn Square. The food is as good if not better than before. In my opinion they serve the best B-B-Q Pork chop in Hua Hin at a really reasonable price. He also makes his own cheese dressing for salads. Not low fat but really tasty!!

My usual question... hours? (are they open for lunch) and which day of the week (if any) are they closed? I always go out with the missus or friends for lunch, rarely leave the house after dark these days. That's also at the opposite end of town from me so I wouldn't want to show up on the closed day. 
My brain is like an Internet browser; 12 tabs are open and 5 of them are not responding, there's a GIF playing in an endless loop,... and where is that annoying music coming from?
