Yes Pete some of us were busy.
I've just zipped across to New Zealand to check on The Hobbit.

So we have Clint's Poncho from the Good, Bad and Ugly.

The harmonica? Bronson played a character called Harmonica in 'Once upon a time in the West'.

The Range Rover? Well thats from 'L4yer Cake' in Which Dannhy Craig was in. This ain't no Western so it is the odd one out.
the basic common theme is about lack of honour among themes.

Clints and Bronsons were directed by Sergio Leone, I'm not familiar with Layer Cake

Hmmmm....interesting bag of near hits n misses with JB skimming the net

So, combined we have the followings:

Clint Eastwood - Fistfull of Dollars/Few Dollars More/GB&U
Charles Bronson - Once Upon A Time In The West
Daniel Craig - Layer Cake

now....what do the three actors roles in those films all have in common, and based on the roles who is the odd man out?

last clue - I could have included this bloke and the character he plays in the potential line up instead of Daniel Craig

1) Name our three mystery men
did Team HHF miss that little verbal clue then?

Ahhhhh.....

On that one, I'd have to say Charles Bronson as the odd one out - simply because I've only got an idea about the other two!!

Clint Eastwood in ''High Plains Drifter'' - the man with no name.....
Daniel Craig in ''Layer Cake'' - again, you never know his name throughout the movie..

Anywhere close or should I just go back to suppin'

[EDIT] B*ll*cks - thinking about it, Charles Bronson also played a mystery man in a western.... can't for the life of me remember the name though. He played the hero stranger protecting the damsel in distress???

Damn, blast, blood & sand...... as my old man would say :banghead: :cuss:

well, we got there in the end

All three played parts in films where the main character has no name.

Clint Eastwood - Dollars Trilogy = The Man With No Name. (In GB&U he is given the nickname "Blondie" by Tuco "The Ugly", the only one of the three with an actual real name. He also calls Lee Van Cleef by a nickname - Angel Eyes).

Charles Bronson - Once Upon A Time In The West = Harmonica (This is a nickname given him by the villain...the character has no real name)

Daniel Craig - Layer Cake = XXXX or Mr X ("And my name...well if you knew that you'd be cleverer than me."...very clever film as it is only then you realise you never hear his name throughout the film.)

and Antonio Banderas - Desparado/OUATIM could have been a shoe in for Daniel Craig as in the films he is simply referred to as El Mariachi (The Musician).

But why could he have been a shoe in for Danny and not the others? Welll...who is the odd man out?

Bronson and Eastwood played gunslingers, Craig (and Banderas) didnt....Craig is a drug dealer and Banderas a guitarist.

Id say that one was a draw between me and Team HHF.

more 3x3 fun tomorrow

I was thinking along the lines that Eastwood, Bronson and Craig are all stone faces. The Banderas dial is a little more rubbery.
(how many rottweilers have been named Bronson after Charlie?)

1) Name all three actors
2) What do all three have in common filmwise
3) Name the three films that link them based on answer 2

Bonus Ball.... based on answers 2 and 3 which actor is the odd man out? (This is REALLY tough)

Reflect on this carefully......

Chocks away chaps!
