Where to find a good nanny

Post by MwD »

Hi,

Does anybody know where I can find a good nanny....I know it's like finding a needle in haystack, but any pointers or directions would be appreciated.

I'm particularly looking for a nanny who doesn't consider watching TV as her main responsibility :cuss:

Are they any agencies in Bangkok worth contacting etc?

Thanks

Britain! :D

Seriously, good luck. Good, reliable, not lazy Thai workers have been very hard to find here for us. We pay above scale and they are good at first but invariably, their work and attendance deteriorates after a few months, even though we always treat them with respect and give them holidays, bonuses, and extra perks. It's very frustrating. :|
My brain is like an Internet browser; 12 tabs are open and 5 of them are not responding, there's a GIF playing in an endless loop,... and where is that annoying music coming from?

My Mother-in-Law....

Too bad though, because her hand are full in our own home. What I must say though, about her, is that she literally doesn't stop from the time she wakes up until the time she goes to bed. She cooks, she cleans, she looks after the kids, and yes, she even does a bit in the garden. To be honest........we'd be absolutely lost without her. :thumb:
Don't try to impress me with your manner of dress cos a monkey himself is a monkey no less - cold fact

Same same!!

Mom cooks, launders, and planted the back yard so we get fresh veggies!!

So if you want to make her an offer, it must be good!!

Seriously good luck!

Yes, my mother-in-law doesn't stop when she is here visiting, but I don't won't to burden her with yet more kids to look after. We did discuss the possibility, but at her age....I feel she deserves a rest from looking after kids...

The search continues....
