Risk of nuclear radiation in Thailand?

Post by simv »

Hello,

I want to plan my visit to Thailand in May, but I am a bit apprehensive about the risk of nuclear radiation from Japan. Would like to know members, tourists, visitor's views on this.

Thank you.

Yup. And don't forget the flooding in the south, earthquakes in the north, separatist terrorists, dengue fever, political instability, etc. Stay at home!

I'm sorry to be a bit sarcastic with your first post, simv  (and a genuine welcome to the forum :thumb: ), but Japan must be about 5,000 kms from Thailand. While there may be a few food-related problems to be dealt with I doubt there'll be much need for any protection stronger than sunblock. :)
This is the way

That was quite a welcome! Anyway, I got your point. I think I'll go ahead with the plan. Thanks.

If you are worried about fall-out, just stay well clear of restaurants in the night market... :duck:

Last time I looked they didn't have any squirrel in the night market, not under that name anyway.
