I'm sure you'll love it. It's rather lovely here and not too crowded

Re: First time to HH
Thank you.... Tired of places like Phuket, Koh Samui etc etc... too crowed for my liking.
Re: First time to HH
I loved Hua Hin on my first visit there. I spent a month relaxing and exploring the seaside town. Highly recommended.
Re: First time to HH
I have travelled a bit in Thailand, and for my money i think Hua hin is the best in terms of location, though i have to say, untill you learn, things can be expensive for the farang.[see other thred 2 tier pricing]
Re: First time to HH
Oic.... Hopefully being Asian I won't face the "farang" problem....
(honestly I don't think so.... Can't speak a word of Thai)
counting down the days to reaching HH.
Btw... Was wondering is there any budget transportation from bkk airport to HH?

Re: First time to HH
Hate to break it to you Linde but unless you're a local or a Thai national who isn't married to a farang then you will most certainly get stung... my mum is Thai but get's stung and one can only presume it's because I am obv. not fully Thai :/ I'd imagine the train or bus would be really cheap. We came by taxi and that cost about 1500B but I'm positive you can get cheaper

Re: First time to HH
I spoke to mum and she said if you ring direct then they will charge more (2 tier pricing) but if you get a Thai to ring then expect to pay no more than 2000B MAX. She said if you need a hand booking a taxi she'll happily ring them for you. She doesn't like getting ripped of as much as the next person tbh

Linde welcome to the forum and to Hua Hin.
Enjoy.

I've lost my mind and I am making no effort to find it.
