EDIT: I forgot, a set of Michelin's for it costs 17,000USD. At top speeds on a track the 26 gallon tank runs dry in 4 minutes. It was simply mind boggling watching the above show about this vehicle. The Germans seem to have created something from another planet.

They come in twos on a double-decked pallet which is then over three million dollars worth of car!

Of course they come in pairs. One to drive and one for parts.
More info on the ferrari clones would be appreciated. I will never have the money to buy a real one, but to own a copy (from outside) it's enough for me. I know it's just plastic covering a crappy Toyota but i still like it. Nobody will knows about the copy until they look inside the engine or inside the car.
Ther are kit cars in Thailand. If you're interested, there's a Lotus Espirit clone (on a Subaru chassis) on sale right now at www<dot>one2car<dot>com, look under the 'ATTHAM' brand name. Not sure if they're still produced, though. Had a pleasant surprise over the weekend, was strolling down the road in Singapore and spotted an old VW Nova kit car (google it), must've been almost thirty years old, still looking good! They later evelved into the 'Sterling'.

OT reply but wow was it on the road , in the last four years in singapore I have never seen a kit car here I thought they were banned in Singapore.
all the lambos etc here are real ones plenty of money here.

Yes, it was on the road, parked outside someone's house. As long as you're willing to pay to keep renewing your road taxes and such, you can keep it on the road. This one had a 'SK' registration, so that would put it back in the late '60's to early '70's. There were a few at the time; I myself remember going to have a look at one with the intent to buy perhaps about thirty or so years ago. That particular one was a VW 'Jamaican' kit car.
guess it was easier to get them registered then I dont think you can do it now.
heard that a lot of people wanted caterams etc but can not get them registered here.
extending the COE cost quite a bit thats why not many cars over ten years old the guy must love his motor!
I had a 1993 bike here and that was considered old when i sold it a couple of years ago.
There is an old VW minivan near our main office I have fancyed making him an offer on it maybe i will pop a note on his screen.
