rent a safe in bank
rent a safe in bank
can anyone tell me where I am most likely to be able to rent a safe in Hua hin .? Thank you for any help.
Re: rent a safe in bank
I think we had a thread about this a while back and the consensus was that the ones at the banks are fairly hard to get as there seems to be long waiting lists for them due to their popularity with the Thais, like to keep gold etc in them.
You can buy a safe for your house but was presuming you were talking about the former situation in the first paragraph.
You probably can inquire at any branch of the high street banks and will probably get pointed to the local HQ branch of said bank but don't be surprised if you find progress unforthcoming. There also could be regulations now as to what you have to satisfy to have one if you are a foreigner.
Ah, found that thread, didn't realise it was so far back now..........

Oh, forgot to mention, for anyone who reads the old thread, that's Randy C/others at his/their best.

Not sure if same price as Hua Hin, but talking with friend in Chiang Mai today, and with the SCB, cost for existing customer was 1500baht per 12 months or 2500baht for new customers.
