Bars Shut for Senate Election

Post by Perente »

The bars have just received "the" letter from the bozo's in brown. Bars must shut at 1800 on 18 April, and stay shut until 2400 on 19 April.

Apparantly the possible sighting of a farang enjoying themselves is enough to discourage / confuse Thai voters in the Senate elections......
If you're not living on the edge, you're taking up too much space.

It get's worse, at least for me/us over here. Pattaya celebrates Songkran on the 19th. A dry Songkran

I wasn't going to go anywhere near the "action zones", but I am now tempted to see if the bar owners and revelers give a kindly FU to the boy's in brown on this. Pete
