"Heavy Rain and Flash Flood"

During 15-19 October, the active monsoon trough remains across upper southern and eastern Thailand to the deep low in the middle South China Sea, and the active southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, southern Thailand and the Gulf of Thailand. Torrential rain and heavy falls are likely much of the country. People along hill slope near waterways and in lowland are warned of severe weather and possible flash flood.
The disaster areas are as followings: during 15-19 October, Phitsanulok, Phichit, Kamphaeng Phet, Phetchabun, Chaiyaphum, Nakhon Ratchasima, Buri Ram, Surin, Nakhon Sawan, Uthai Thani, Suphan Buri, Lop Buri, Saraburi, Kanchanaburi, Ratchaburi, Bangkok, Nakhon Nayok, Prachin Buri, Sa Kaeo, Chachoengsao, Chon Buri, Rayong, Chanthaburi, Trat, Phetchaburi, Prachuap Khiri Khan, Ranong, Phang-nga and Phuket;
during 15-16 October, Chaiyaphum, Nakhon Ratchasima, Buri Ram, Surin, Nakhon Nayok, Rayong, Chanthaburi and Trat;
during 17-18 October, Nakhon Sawan, Uthai Thani, Suphan Buri, Kanchanaburi, Ratchaburi, Bangkok, Rayong, Chanthaburi, Trat, Phetchaburi, Prachuap Khiri Khan, Ranong, Phang-nga and Phuket.
The wind-wave in the Andaman Sea and the Gulf of Thailand continues strong. All ships should proceed with caution, and small boats in the Andaman Sea keep ashore during this period.
During 18-19 October, the ridge of high pressure will extend to northern and northeastern Thailand and bring cool weather by 1-2 oC drops.
