Can anyone tell me iff huahin airport is going to be open again in the near future , i used to be able to fly with bangkok air from huahin to phuket/samui and reverse but this is no longer available and i have never been able to find out why this service stopped, After 20 visits to pattaya i am now at the point i no longer want to go there(for the foreseable future) so my itinery is now usualy bangkok 2 days then fly to phuket for 10 days then i have to fly back to bangkok to travel to hua hin for a week i would love to be able to come form the uk and journey staright down to huahin for maybe 5 days then fly to phuket for 10 days then back to huahin for 5 more days then only spend my last 2 days in bangkok before going home , did the service stop because of lack of demand or because of the thai king living in hua hin.
There are 4 flights between Bangkok and Hua Hin daily and the total traveling time is approximately 1 hour (flight duration is about 40 minutes).
Air fair round trip is 5,200 Baht, while one way is 3,100 Baht.
