What is it about this game?
I was lucky enough to play Springfield today, A and C courses as B was under repair. I'd never played C before.
Anyway, I usually blame my putting first for bad scores, but this time there's no excuse. 17 putts on A and 13 on C.
I've never played chip and runs with a 7/8/9 iron so well from 40 yards out. Up and down in two so many times. However, the overall score was 95.
If only I could drive another 20 yds or so and club correctly for my approach. Ie club up.
And not go into big bunkers and not fluff a shot and.......
A great day. Room for improvement I think.

I`d be a good player too if only my clubs sent the ball in the direction I aimed at, and the ball didn`t have a homing device to water and sand. I gave up the game completely last week in disgust, but maybe I`ll try again on Thursday.

... or worse... or either... depending on the day. My last outing was the highest 18 hole round score I've ever played... and that was after shooting one of my lowest (9 hole) rounds ever a month before! I didn't feel like I was doing anything differently... :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

Welcome el88, as far as I know the following courses will be 800 baht green fee + caddie at 250 for all of August and some into September:

Royal Hua Hin
Majestic Creek
Springfield
Lake View
Sawang
Palm Hills
Kaeng Krachan
The Eagle (Milford)

Kaeng Krachan is currently 700 baht including caddie on Tuesday and Thursday.

Black Mountain and Banyan have discounts but also have compulsory carts and other extras so are not really included. I'll post a dedicated thread when I get confirmation.

Thanks guys. I visited Hauhin twice in last year and the year before and I enjoy staying in Hauhin very much (Springfield Village and @Sea). Looking forward to meet you guys on the greens. Btw, is there any means of transportation between hotel and golf course other than the hotel van? I rekon it's a bit expensive (1,800 to 2,000 Baht rt to/from Black Mnt.
